Hi all,
We just figured out that on my laptop the setting under "System Setting" -> "Desktop Effect" -> "Appearance" -> "Logout" works the other way around. When checked it does not fade the desktop on logout and when un-checked it does fade the desktop on logout.
That's not what I expect it to do, anyone else seeing this? :)

Or the "effect" just plain isn't working. (which I can confirm on my i945 laptop).
