Morning guys,
Happy new year guys first of all. I hope we will see a good and healthy year and ofcourse a great KDE year!
But back to business I have a lot of problems with krunner, it crashes 8 of the 10 times. Also user switching doesn't work often because there are no uses in the krunner dialog.
Also my colleagues suffer these problems.

I've got 4.3.85 under F12 and don't have any problem with krunner. I have never tried switching users through krunner, though.
Also my colleagues suffer these problems.

I only very rarely see a krunner crash, but I've already disabled MALLOC_CHECK_, which is included in kdebase-workspace-4.3.85-2 builds now coming.

OK, thanks.
I'll reinstall 4.4b2 later this week and report back.

Argh shame on me I think I can link these "strange" crashes (krunner/digikam) to the latest beta drivers of Nvidia (195.30). Downgrading to the 190.x branch seems to fix it!

I'm using the 190.42 drivers. While I won't be surprised if this is indeed an nVidia driver issue, KDE 4.3.4 is rock-solid, and disabling/enabling composite on 4.4b2 didn't reduce the number of crashes.
