Obviously a picture would help, but as said it is basically a thin white
line, a couple of inches long, with a short grey bit in the middle. If
anything it looks a slider of some sort but it doesn't 'slide'.
Just to say that the icon (or whatever it was) has not appeared for a while
now. There have been some KDE framework updates (14 June on my laptop - version
21.12.2-1), and kernel updates, so it may well have disappeared after one of
those updates. Anyway, it's gone now.
