I generally post the status mail to every person / group that seems relevant. One of the blockers concerns KDE - the desktop backgrounds bug - hence I CC'ed kde@.

I understand. However the message I reacted to was a cross-posted reply that's unrelated to KDE. Perhaps I should have been clearer in my response.
