3:50 p.m.
A tiny point, but when I click on the lozenge
at the right-hand end of my panel, and go to Add widgets,
I see what I assume is the alphabetically first widgets -
Activities, ..., Application Launcher.
But I see no way to go to further widgets?

I can view more by scrolling my mousewheel over the list of widgets (but
it's slow).

I can view more by scrolling my mousewheel over the list of widgets (but
it's slow).
There is also a scroll bar at the bottom, this could be dependent on which
theme your using though.

There is also a scroll bar at the bottom, this could be dependent on

Thanks very much - that was the solution.
For some reason the scroll bar is very pale - almost white on white -
in my setup.

Also for your information, I do apologize if you already knew this, but the
lozenge you speak of, is actually called a cashew
I think that's just the name KDE gave it when 4.0 was first released.
