Give it a try if you're brave - it's in kde-unstable already (as 4.3.95).

I'm already brave (or stupid, depending on how you look it at :)) - I'm currently on 4.4.90. Tried a couple of hours ago, kde-redhat-unstable had no updates.

By the way, you use a nvidia video card with the propietary driver? Plasma-desktop is rock solid here with 4.3.90

Retried - after a full yum clean all. 4.3.95 is now being installed... thanks.

Yes.
Plasma-desktop is rock solid here with 4.3.90
Known issue [1], reported and fixed a couple of days before 4.4rc2 GA.
