Good day all,
Sorry if this is an FAQ somewhere else, but I couldn't find an answer on this list.
I was just wonder if/when we can expect the 4.7 beta in the kde redhat repo's, anytime soon?
Apparently the plasma clock will show calendar events in 4.7, fingers crossed :)

We're finishing up getting it all imported into rawhide. Once that's done, kde-unstable builds will commence.

Clicking on the clock, pops up a calendar with days that contain events highlighted for me on 4.6.x... or is this 4.7 thing you mention something new/different/better?

Have you actually got an option in your clock settings to show events?
I have seen a screenshot of a tickbox that just says "Show Events" but it was apparently from 4.7

Hmm wow, It does work, I have had trouble getting this going for a while, but it does in fact now work for me. It doesn't however show events from my google calendar. Hopefully 4.7 beta will.
Is the 4.7 beta 4.6.80?? it wasn't the 4.6.4 that's just been released??

yes, .80 and .90 are commonly betas of the next major
it wasn't the 4.6.4 that's just been released?
4.6.4 is part of the 4.6 branch and has nothing to do with 4.7
Aaah ok thank you

What version of kdepim will 4.7 have? kdepim 4.6 beta fails miserably here during migration, I have read elsewhere other users that have had problems also, reported @ kde.bugs and via the "pim" mail lists.

Migration went totally smoothly. No usage problems. Really nice.
IMAP or POP3 ?

Hi, only a few builds and it will be ready. I'd like to finish it by the end of week (rawhide builds) but I'm also busy with our Openmobility conference.
PS: hint, hint for Czech speaking people around Brno - yes, I'll show you how to use Qt on mobile devices, I'd like to talk about KDE Plasma Active - that's the reason for 4.7 but it's crashing for me... Noooo...
R.
