Dear members of the list: First, I would like to thank people making possible to use kde in Fedora. I found this unofficial repo http://compsci.cas.vanderbilt.edu/Fedora/local/ with rpm and srpm packages of okular5 and the new (beta) version of kile. Are there any plans to have these packages in Fedora? Live Preview is a very nice feature. Best, Enrique.

A version of Okular based on Frameworks 5 (internal version: 1.0) is part of the upcoming KDE Applications 16.12: https://community.kde.org/Schedules/Applications/16.12_Release_Schedule
There are no stable versions of Kile based on Frameworks 5 so far. I think that Kile was waiting for a stable Okular in order to release (for obvious dependencies), but you should ask to the Kile list/channel about this.

So let's ship the snapshots, to go with Okular 16.12. We also shipped betas when they moved to kdelibs 4, we started at 2.1 beta 1 back then. That way, we may avoid having to ship an old OkularPart just for Kile (though an alternative would be to just build without OkularPart support and support only the external Okular application, which we did in F9 when we had the opposite problem, KDE 3 Kile vs. KDE 4 Okular).
