fine - and how do i get my profile, accounts and chat history migrated?
it sucks that every few months a different application is losing all
it's settings and the reason why i would never recommend some non-tech
user Linux on a desktop while i use it for 12 years now

* why in the world does auto connect no longer happen?
* where do i disable spell checking
* why does it no longer remember position/size of contact list
* why is the window size of konfiguration now as dumb as
kwallet and not remembered - frankly it's a joke when
you need to resize the same dialog again and again

then and keep the kf5 kopete for f29+ only at this point.

please do so and try to convience upstream that it is a shitty user
expierience when every KF5 ported application forgets all it's settings,
otherwise we wouldn't even realize that it was ported
such upgrades combined in a dist-upgrade are even worser because you
can't downgrade and sit there with the facts that your settings are gone
currently if one likes he can downgrade kopete, cotinue his work and try
the upgrade, migration and/or new configuration in a timewindow which
matches better
