Hello,
I am using KDE 4.3.95 on x86_65 Fedora 12.
I have a groupdav addressbook connected to kaddressbook.
If the name contains umlaute (ü, ä, ...) the last letters of the display name are thrown away.
I can see this in the addressbook, and if I look at the vcf using konqueror and kate.
An example copied over from kate is:
BEGIN:VCARD VERSION:2.1 ADR;WORK;CHARSET=utf-8;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:;;XXXXXXXXXstra=C3=9Fe 1;Osnabr=C3=BCck;;11111 N;CHARSET=utf-8;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:Kr=C3=BCwel;G=C3=BCnter; FN;CHARSET=utf-8;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:G=C3=BCnter Kr=C3=BCw ORG:XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX; TEL;WORK:+11 (111) 111- 1111 UID:addressbook-168-376f4df772b11449bbf89f9d13333aba END:VCARD
See the missing 'el ' in the FN field.
If I check the vcf using cadaver from the comand line, everything is OK.
Against which part of KDE should I report a bug?
