I agree. If we want to fix up the import to improve the history, I think
right now is the time to do it. There are still a pretty small number of
most-migration changes to apply on top of a new migration. If we let it go
much longer, it's going to become unreasonable to ditch the old (current)
incarnation of git history.

Unfortunately I don't have any time to spend on this. Alpha is looming,
and my wife is about to give birth, so my time is .... limited. The
other Fedora admins can get you folks access to the kernel cvs repo
files and CVSROOT for folks to play along at home.
