We've been using json in the database more and more, but because not all
versions of Postgres have special support for it, we've been storing it
in text fields.
Postgres 9.4 and up support a jsonb type that has some really nice
features. It would be really nice for us to use in Koji. Koji could
actually query based on structural data in a jsonb field, and even index
on it.
So, here's the Poll:
Question 1: What version of Postgres are you using for your Koji instance(s)
Question 2: How would you be impacted if Koji required 9.4 or greater?
Note that Postgres 9.4 and 9.5 are available as software collections for
RHEL6 and RHEL7.
