Can /dev/sdc2 be changed ot the partition's UUID?
I went ahead and got the UUID from the rescue section,
verified is with ls -al /dev/disk/by-uuid, and changed
root=/dev/sdc2
to
root=UUID=(UUID from the rescue section)
And guess what stinker is now working!
