Bug ID: 2317113 Summary: Upstream of lua-readline seems to be gone Product: Fedora Version: rawhide Hardware: All OS: Linux Status: NEW Component: lua-readline Severity: medium Assignee: michel@michel-slm.name Reporter: redhat-bugzilla@linuxnetz.de QA Contact: extras-qa@fedoraproject.org CC: lua-packagers-sig@lists.fedoraproject.org, michel@michel-slm.name, redhat-bugzilla@linuxnetz.de Target Milestone: --- Classification: Fedora
Description of problem: https://pjb.com.au/comp/lua/readline.html returns a domain parking website only.
Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): lua-readline-3.3-5.fc41
How reproducible: See above.
Actual results: Upstream of lua-readline seems to be gone.
Expected results: Figure out whether upstream moved to somewhere else or whether there is a fork.
Additional info: Prosody depends on lua-readline, thus retiring the package isn't a good idea.

--- Comment #2 from Michel Lind michel@michel-slm.name --- Thank you! Interestingly the download URL is still valid, but we should probably at least replace the URL with https://peterbillam.gitlab.io/pjb_lua/lua/readline.html which still works
