Introduction of myself
by Peter van Gemert
Hello All,
I saw the call for new contributors on Fedora Magazine and here I am. My name is Peter van Gemert and I'm an IT teacher at an secondary vocational education institute in the Netherlands. I mainly teach Sysadmin courses using Linux (Centos and Ubuntu). For my desktop systems I use fedora (for many years).
During my career I wrote course materials for different audience levels like, system administrators and managers (of all levels). As an teacher it is my daily task to translate "difficult technical stuff" into easily understandable information and tasks.
When time permits I would like to contribute to the Fedora Magazine by proposing and writing articles.
Kind Regards,
Peter van Gemert

That worked, I've added you!
So now you should be able to assign a card to yourself and move it to In
Progress etc.
Cheers!

OK, can you please log in to Taiga first? You'll need to click on the
"OpenID Connect" button on the login page to be able to log in. I should be
then able to add you.
Sorry for that being more complicated than it should.

Yes, if something is in Taiga, you can just pick it up and write it. If
something is not there and you'd like to write about it, the proposal page
is the place for it to be discussed.

Introduction
by jacob burns
Hi all,
I'm a CS student with a background in linguistics, moonlighting as a copywriter. I've written blog articles, ebooks and marketing copy on a pretty broad range of topics, and would love to contribute to Fedora Magazine. I've taken a look at some of the issues on the issue tracker, as well as the Taiga site, and there are a number of article topics which look like good first contributions.
In particular, I'd really like to write an article on alternatives for some ubiquitous *NIX programs - cat, grep, top, find etc. I'd also be keen to work on https://pagure.io/fedora-magazine-proposals/issue/7. If someone could point me in the right direction with regards to getting started contributing, I'd be much obliged.
Looking forward to writing for you guys!
Kind regards,
Jake
