I recently worked with Fedora Legal and the people at hosting/cloud
company Vultr
https://www.vultr.com/ to make sure their Fedora offering
meets our trademark guidelines. Good news is that it does now! I love
to see Fedora offered to users in this way. We've previously done
articles about Fedora in Digital Ocean and I'd like to do a similar one
for Vultr. Any takers?
Key information:
- Link to
https://www.vultr.com/servers/fedora
- SSD-backed servers in 15 locations worldwide
- The installation image is based upon Fedora 26 Server Edition.
- In order to maintain consistency with other Vultr images, the default
login and SSH key location will be for the root user.
- The firewalld service is enabled to secure new instances. Its default
configuration will allow incoming SSH connections and ports will need
to be opened for other listening services.
- You can also upload custom ISOs if you want to use a different Fedora
spin or create your own
Also, they are willing to provide complementary access to a writer so
you can try it out and write from experience rather than just ad copy.
