Marketing leadership transition + Trac queue cleanup
by Mel Chua
Robyn and I (with David popping in) sprinted on trac queue cleanup in
preparation for the leadership transition.
That's right - for those of you who actually read the meeting minutes,
Robyn will become the next official Fedora Marketing Team lead as of
June 1st. I will stick around for minionhood. ;)

by Mel Chua
Happy release day, everyone! Things all seem to be going well. Two notes
(from the minutes):
1. We should keep our eyes on community news sites, and try to respond
with useful information in a consistent, clear, and cordial way wherever
possible.
2. Use the link tracking for download and join links,
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Link_tracking
That is all. Hurrah! Congratulations on a great release.

Re: Link tracking

Yep, I was impatient. Always am. Still fighting with F13 and my Lenovo
Ideapad S10-3t. Quite a problematic combination as it seems.

Jan,
I guess you were impatient ;-) They are working correctly and have the
correct tracking suffix.

Re: Keyword Optimizations (Home, Download, & Help Pages)
by Garland Binns
Hi Paul,
For each URL below, we would basically want to add the suggested keyword
when/where applicable to the:
- Title Tag
- META Description Tag (which do not currently exist)
- H1 Tags
- H2 Tags
- Anchor Text
- ALT Tags
My next step is to update the pages and submit them to the Websites Team so
everything can be reviewed, revised, and/or approved prior to anything going
live.
Sincerely,
Garland

What specific changes do we have to make to enable these
optimizations?
