Hi

Red Hat and the Fedora Project community this morning have officially
announced the release of Fedora 16. This release, which is codenamed
"Verne", offers up a significant number of original improvements in the
Linux desktop and server space.
Fedora 16 ships with the GNOME 3.2 desktop by default and all of the
latest upstream bits (there's also KDE SC 4.7 for others), support for
the latest version of the D system programming language, the GRUB2
boot-loader by default on new installation, systemd improvements, the
EXT4 driver is being used for EXT2/EXT3 file-systems, many
virtualization improvements (including OpenStack and Aeolus), and a heck
of a lot of other original improvements by Red Hat engineers and the
community. The official Fedora 16 features can be found on this Fedora
Project Wiki page.

[In the news] Red Hat Fedora 16 Arrives
by Rahul Sundaram
Hi
http://www.thevarguy.com/2011/11/09/red-hat-fedora-16-arrives/
"This doesn’t mean you can go out and replace your aging RHEL distro
with Fedora 16, but it does mean that SMBs or other small home offices
have a free and easy opportunity to start taking advantage of more
advanced virtualization and cloud technologies that are on the IT scene.
Like most Linux projects, there’s a wiki for it, and The Fedora Project
has a massive list of updates that are inside Fedora 16."

Hi
http://www.muktware.com/news/2904
"As expected Fedora 16 is offering GNOME 3.2, the latest update to the
most popular desktop environment. It comes with an 'Online Accounts'
panel, which provides a central point for managing online accounts like
Google, Facebook, etc.
There is a new contact management application is integrated with
Empathy, Evolution and the new "Online Accounts" settings panel. There
is also a new document management application provides a simpler
alternative to traditional file management for both local and "in-cloud"
documents."
