Either the spam detection plugin broke somehow, or someone has found a way
around it -- we're getting dozens and dozens of spam comments in the
moderation queue.

goal: at least one fedora magazine post a day
by Matthew Miller
Weekdays, say, to start. So, five.
I'm committed to the 5tFTW posts, so that's one down. And I'm going to be
doing the Fedora.Next series for a few more weeks at least, so that's two.
Chris does the badge reports, so that's three. Anyone want to volunteer for
other regular features? (Or to write or recruit an irregular feature every
week?)
We may want to start using the scheduled posting feature so that we cover
the week nicely, at least until we get to the point where there's so much
that it doesn't matter.

#161: block specific sites from ping?

The site "techrights.org" seems to have a feed which automatically posts
links to all of our content and creates a "ping" comment for each. They're
not actually commenting or adding any value. I don't want to fill up the
actual comments with these pings (they are really just noise!), and I also
don't want to have to reject them manually.
I guess that I could mark them as spam -- from google, the site looks like
it was legit in the past but may have been taken over by someone, because
I can't get legit content to load now and everything looks old.
In any case, I just want to block it. How can this be done?

Comment:
Jetpack light is installed which gives us the stats. I watched the logs
last night for any errors or performance issues. I dont see anything
coming from Jetpack and so far we are getting some awesome reporting from
the plugin. Lots of visits from twitter and so far the biggest page is the
heartbleed cve.
Going to close this ticket, I will keep a watch on the logs to see if
anything odd comes up.
