Subject: Self-Introduction: (Amit Sharma) Hi, my name is Amit sharma and I live in India (Indore MP). My Fedora Account System (FAS) username is duckfern, and my IRC I am new to IRC and would like help getting started! I am open source enthuiast and engineering professional from computer science background and i am actively looking to contribute in fedora community as a marketing specialist.I learned about the Fedora Marketing team through Online research and Red Hat, and am interested in joining because i intend spreading Fedora to Public and Private Schools in India. This is the first FOSS project I have worked on!Previously also worked as communication marketing specialist and product branding for a startup which is e-commerce platform where people can buy sell and take on rent products my responisbilites was ro educate people about the product and do market research about the product. I was responsible for digital marketing and graphics design as well. Currently i am blogging about fedora linux administration basics and trying to educate them about fedora linux operating use and its advantages by means of my website.My primarily focus is on school kids and educating them how to use fedora linux on raspberry pi this is my long term project. My skills, which I hope to utilize in Fedora Marketing, include: Marketing Skills - Blogging, Online Marketing, Advertising Other Skills - Graphics, Web Design I'd also like to learn Publishing, Team Work, Community Driven Projects, Networking, Business Management. A couple of goals I have for the Fedora Project are spread Fedora and empower kids and system administrators . My goals 1.Educate people about fedora linux and open source. 2.Educate unprivilege kids about raspberry pi and fedora linux. As i know fedora community is such community which operates in professional,dynamic and vibrant environment and i am sure that there would be extremely challenging and growth oriented. I would take it as privilege a if i get a opportunity to associate myself with fedora community with full dedication.I would obliged if you consider my application and give me a chance for the same Please help me get started!
