tellyourfedorastory(a)fedoraproject.org?
yourstory.fedoraproject.org => forum server just for telling cool
stories about Fedora usage? (open for all, uses only a captcha to filter
accounts)
stories.of.fedoralinux.org => nice site that does nothing but tell
stories -- written, audio, video -- about Fedora
Hmmm ... at least these two ideas need humans to parse them, for various
spammish and nicety reasons. We need a team! I volunteer. Anyone
else?
Include the link in every story publicized, so they help provide more
fodder.
Aside from Digg, get a blast into
press.redhat.com.
Run stories in the installer?
Get Red Hat Magazine to pick up one occasionally for wider viewing. (+1)
Ensure all stories are under a Fedora-approved CC license so people
can ... use them in presentations! Reprint them in their dead tree
Linux magazines! Etc.
Since Fedora is such a cool server distro, I bet we can get some really
great stories this way that rival just about anyone else's potential.
We may not have the best "I gave my Granny Fedora 8 and that werewolf
ate her lunch" stories, but sysadmins who like Fedora have cooler toys
anyway.
