Meeting summary
---------------
* Roll Call (tflink, 16:01:13)
* Introduction (tflink, 16:03:48)
* Our purpose in this meeting is to review proposed blocker and
nice-to-have bugs and decide whether to accept them, and to monitor
the progress of fixing existing accepted blocker and freeze
exception bugs. (tflink, 16:03:54)
* We'll be following the process outlined at: (tflink, 16:04:07)
* LINK: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/QA:SOP_Blocker_Bug_Meeting
(tflink, 16:04:07)
* The bugs up for review today are available at: (tflink, 16:04:15)
* LINK: http://qa.fedoraproject.org/blockerbugs/current (tflink,
16:04:15)
* The criteria for release blocking bugs can be found at: (tflink,
16:04:23)

* LINK:
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Fedora_19_Alpha_Release_Criteria
(tflink, 16:04:29)
* Up for review today, we have: (tflink, 16:04:57)
* 8 Proposed Blockers (tflink, 16:05:05)
* 10 Accepted Blockers (tflink, 16:05:06)
* 19 Proposed Freeze Exceptions (tflink, 16:05:06)
* 18 Accepted Freeze Exceptions (tflink, 16:05:06)
* (975537) BootLoaderError: failed to remove old efi boot entry
(tflink, 16:07:35)
* LINK: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=975537 (tflink,
16:07:38)
* Proposed Blocker, anaconda, ASSIGNED (tflink, 16:07:40)
* AGREED: 975537 - RejectedBlocker AcceptedFreezeException - With the
currently available information, this seems too HW specific to block
release over but a tested fix would be considered after freeze. If
more information or reports of hitting this show up, please
repropose. (tflink, 16:14:05)
* (975159) UnicodeDecodeError: 'ascii' codec can't decode byte 0xc4 in
position 0: ordinal not in range(128) (tflink, 16:14:10)
* LINK: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=975159 (tflink,
16:14:13)
* Proposed Blocker, anaconda, MODIFIED (tflink, 16:14:15)
* AGREED: 975159 - AcceptedBlocker - Violates the following F19 final
release criterion for enough regions to justify blocking release:
"The installer must be able to complete an installation using all
supported interfaces" (tflink, 16:17:44)
* (975692) Instalator hangs when it need to remove lvm with snapshot.
(tflink, 16:17:48)
* LINK: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=975692 (tflink,
16:17:51)
* Proposed Blocker, anaconda, NEW (tflink, 16:17:54)
* Proposed Blocker, fedora-logos, NEW (tflink, 16:39:18)
* (974711) Drop HAL and beefy install 'ad banners' for F19 final(?)
(tflink, 16:39:22)
* LINK: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=974711 (tflink,
16:39:25)
* Proposed Blocker, fedora-logos, NEW (tflink, 16:39:28)
* AGREED: 974711 - AcceptedBlocker - There are significant questions
about some of the banners displayed during installation (legal,
appropriate content for Fedora etc.). There are several possible
solutions (removing specific banners, removing banners, legal review
...). At a minimum, the HAL banner (I can't let you do that, Dave)
needs to be removed before the blocker classification is dropped or
the bug is closed. (tflink, 16:52:29)
* (975204) radeon card lost opengl 3.1 support (tflink, 16:52:40)
* LINK: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=975204 (tflink,
16:52:40)
* Proposed Blocker, mesa, ON_QA (tflink, 16:52:40)
* AGREED: 975204 - RejectedBlocker AcceptedFreezeException - This
doesn't cleanly violate any F19 release criteria and does not
qualify for release blocking status for F19. However, the fix is
low-risk and the bug is a regression in expected functionality and a
tested fix would be considered past freeze. (tflink, 16:58:44)
* (974691) Since cleaning up from #974132, nothing gets written to
/var/log/messages (tflink, 16:58:49)
* LINK: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=974691 (tflink,
16:58:52)
* Proposed Blocker, rsyslog, NEW (tflink, 16:58:54)
* AGREED: 974691 - RejectedBlocker - This appears to have become less
severe than we initially thought and it no longer violates any of
the F19 release criteria. Thus, rejected as a release blocking bug
for F19 final. (tflink, 17:12:19)
* (975521) unable to change settings using dconf (tflink, 17:12:24)
* LINK: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=975521 (tflink,
17:12:24)
* Proposed Blocker, selinux-policy, MODIFIED (tflink, 17:12:25)
* AGREED: 975521 - It's not clear on what exactly is causing the bug
as reported and we want to be more sure that there aren't larger
dconf issues here before making a decision on blocker status. Will
revisit when more information is available (tflink, 17:23:01)
* (679486) Liveinst doesn't start if hostname changes (tflink,
17:23:06)
* LINK: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=679486 (tflink,
17:23:06)
* Proposed Blocker, xorg-x11-xauth, ASSIGNED (tflink, 17:23:07)
* AGREED: 679486 - AcceptedBlocker - Violates the following F19 alpha
release criteria for several reasonably common liveinstall use cases
which we were not aware of before: "The installer must run when
launched normally from the release-blocking images." (tflink,
17:45:16)
* (972328) ibus shouldn't require ibus-setup (tflink, 17:47:57)
* LINK: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=972328 (tflink,
17:47:58)
* Proposed Freeze Exceptions, ibus, ON_QA (tflink, 17:47:58)
* AGREED: 972328 - This is a low-risk action that removes un-needed
pkgs from the desktop spin to help get it down to the target size. A
tested fix would be considered past freeze. (tflink, 17:50:59)
* (965797) Warn on skip of user creation (tflink, 17:51:03)
* LINK: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=965797 (tflink,
17:51:05)
* Proposed Freeze Exceptions, initial-setup, POST (tflink, 17:51:08)
* LINK:
https://lists.fedorahosted.org/pipermail/anaconda-patches/2013-June/00451...
(adamw, 17:55:18)
* AGREED: 965797 - AcceptedFreezeException - This decreases the odds
that a user will finish install and post-install processes without a
user account but allows corner cases to finish without creating a
user account. A tested fix would be considered past freeze.
(tflink, 17:57:02)
* (970719) initial-setup-text.service causes endless lvm messages to the
console (tflink, 17:57:06)
* LINK: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=970719 (tflink,
17:57:09)
* Proposed Freeze Exceptions, initial-setup, ON_QA (tflink, 17:57:11)
* AGREED: 970719 - AcceptedFreezeException - This allows ARM to not
use static root passwords in the case when no graphical console is
used. A tested fix would be considered after freeze. (tflink,
18:05:02)
* (975214) Implement package installation policy agreed in FESCo #1115
(tflink, 18:05:24)
* LINK: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=975214 (tflink,
18:05:27)
* Proposed Freeze Exceptions, PackageKit, VERIFIED (tflink, 18:05:30)
* AGREED: 975214 - AcceptedFreezeException - This is required for
implementation of a 4 week old FESCo decision and tighter
restrictions on who can install packages on the system. A tested fix
would be considered past freeze. (tflink, 18:13:58)
* (973019) UnicodeDecodeError: 'ascii' codec can't decode byte 0xc2 in
position 0: ordinal not in range(128) (tflink, 18:14:05)
* LINK: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=973019 (tflink,
18:14:08)
* Proposed Freeze Exceptions, python-blivet, POST (tflink, 18:14:11)
* AGREED: 973019 - AcceptedFreezeException - This is pretty easy to
hit with non-ascii labels and a tested fix would be considered past
freeze. (tflink, 18:21:58)
* (975643) SELinux is preventing /usr/sbin/mdadm from 'ioctl' accesses
on the blk_file /dev/md126p1. (tflink, 18:22:04)
* LINK: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=975643 (tflink,
18:22:07)
* Proposed Freeze Exceptions, selinux-policy, MODIFIED (tflink,
18:22:10)
* AGREED: 975673 - AcceptedFreezeException - While this isn't quite
common enough to be a blocker, showing un-needed error messages to
users is a bad practice. A tested fix would be considered past
freeze. (tflink, 18:30:04)
* (975344) SELinux is preventing spice-vdagentd from 'module_request'
accesses on the system . (tflink, 18:30:11)
* LINK: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=975344 (tflink,
18:30:14)
* Proposed Freeze Exceptions, selinux-policy, MODIFIED (tflink,
18:30:17)
* AGREED: 975344 - AcceptedFreezeException - This has only been
reported on secondary de livecds and thus isn't a blocker but is a
freeze exception. A tested fix would be considered past freeze.
(tflink, 18:33:45)
* (975780) java-1.7.0-openjd security update should go to f19 final
compose (tflink, 18:33:51)
* LINK: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=975780 (tflink,
18:33:54)
* Proposed Freeze Exceptions, distribution, ON_QA (tflink, 18:33:57)
* AGREED: 975780 - AcceptedFreezeException - Java has plenty of
security issues and while the CVEs fixed in this update aren't
readily accessible, we assume that this is worth pulling into the
DVD and lives. A tested fix would be considered after freeze.
(tflink, 18:50:32)
* Open Floor (tflink, 18:52:52)
* LINK: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=974543 (adamw,
18:53:38)
* LINK: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=873207 (adamw,
18:54:33)
* (974543) Anaconda is always creating new efi system partition
(tflink, 18:57:59)
* LINK: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=974543 (tflink,
18:58:02)
* Proposed Freeze Exceptions, anaconda, NEW (tflink, 18:58:04)
* AGREED: 974543 - AcceptedFreezeException - This behavior of creating
new EFI partitions is not correct and should be fixed. A tested fix
would be considered past freeze (tflink, 18:59:59)
* (873207) UEFI: No entry in grub2 menu for windows8 in dual boot setup
install (tflink, 19:01:06)
* LINK: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=873207 (tflink,
19:01:09)
* Proposed Freeze Exceptions, grub2, ASSIGNED (tflink, 19:01:11)
* AGREED: 873207 - AcceptedFreezeException - While not a blocker,
getting UEFI multiboot would be very useful. A tested fix would be
considered after freeze (tflink, 19:04:17)
* Open Floor (tflink, 19:05:45)
* since we didn't quite finish everything today, will meet again
tomorrow @ 15:00 UTC to finish the lists (tflink, 19:08:16)
Meeting ended at 19:11:37 UTC.

18:00:00 <nirik> #topic init process
18:00:00 <zodbot> The meeting name has been set to 'fesco'
18:00:00 <zodbot> Current chairs: abadger1999 jwb mitr mmaslano nirik notting pjones sgallagh t8m
18:00:08 <nirik> who all is around for fesco meeting?
18:00:09 <mitr> Hello
18:00:29 <sgallagh> Greetings, programs
18:00:36 * notting is here
18:01:00 <jwb> hi
18:01:05 * handsome_pirate waves
18:01:59 <pjones> I'm sortof partly here.
18:02:22 * abadger1999 here
18:02:24 <nirik> ok. t8m voted in tickets and won't be able to attend.
18:02:42 <nirik> I think we have quorum, so lets go ahead and get started.
18:02:48 <nirik> #topic ticket #1123 Request owner change for dkms
18:02:49 <nirik> .fesco 1123
18:02:49 <nirik> https://fedorahosted.org/fesco/ticket/1123
18:02:50 <zodbot> nirik: #1123 (Request owner change for dkms) – FESCo - https://fedorahosted.org/fesco/ticket/1123
18:03:01 <nirik> so, I changed ownership here per our process.
18:03:14 <nirik> however, there's a number of other changes to the package the new maintainer would like to make.
18:03:39 <sgallagh> nirik: Given that he's now the package maintainer, is there a reason we should interfere here?
18:03:51 <mitr> I'm -1 to the sysv/systemd chage and rename - user-visible/script-breaking incompatible change
18:03:55 <sgallagh> ah, sorry. The start-by-default stuff
18:04:00 <nirik> yes, because they are things that fesco would have to approve.
18:04:05 <nirik> Switch from "dkms_autoinstaller" to "dkms" for all branches
18:04:05 <nirik> Switch to systemd already for f17 and f18
18:04:05 <nirik> Enable by default on el5, el6 through chkconfig
18:04:05 <nirik> Enable by default on f17 through systemd
18:04:05 <nirik> Ask for systemd preset inclusion for f18, f19 and rawhide
18:04:11 <notting> yeah, shouldn't change sysv -> systemd in a release
18:04:25 <nirik> well, the reason for that is that we can't know if the user had it enabled in sysv.
18:04:28 <notting> so could do it for f20, f19 (if really fast)
18:04:39 <nirik> if we also say they can start by default, that should be possible?
18:04:46 <sgallagh> Yeah, no sysv->systemd change in the release.
18:05:17 <mitr> For starting by default, does dkms actually require an exception to https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Starting_services_by_default ?
18:05:21 <sgallagh> I'm okay with renaming for F19+, but not installed systems
18:05:30 <jwb> sgallagh, we're past change deadline
18:05:42 <jwb> sgallagh, which means a rename would show up as a 0-day update. not very nice
18:05:54 <notting> ok then, f20.
18:05:59 <sgallagh> jwb: Well, unless it got a freeze exception, but yes.
18:06:11 <jwb> if it got a freeze exception, i would weep.
18:06:16 <sgallagh> (I'm not voting for a freeze exception)
18:06:19 <nirik> mitr: not sure. Does dkms need config? or does it just work?
18:06:39 * nirik hasn't used it in so long, no idea.
18:06:56 <mitr> nirik: I haven't looked either
18:08:11 <nirik> it sounds like no config...
18:08:46 <nirik> so, ask for more info? or should we vote on each part?
18:08:47 <abadger1999> When I had it installed many years ago, it just worked.
18:08:52 <nirik> or...
18:09:26 <mitr> Arguably the f<=18 situation is sort of moot - even if it violated the policy we might not want to prohibit it now
18:10:03 <nirik> proposal: if no exception needed on starting by default, allow name change/systemd in f20+ only, leave others alone?
18:10:11 <pjones> I think we've explicitly allowed it before.
18:10:16 <jwb> +1
18:10:25 <abadger1999> +1
18:10:27 <pjones> nirik: +1
18:10:36 <notting> +1
18:10:38 <nirik> I don't actually thing the systemd move would harm anything in existing releases aside from confusing people..
18:10:53 <mitr> +1
18:10:57 <sgallagh> +1
18:11:18 <nirik> #agreed if no exception needed on starting by default, allow name change/systemd in f20+ only, leave others alone. (+7,0,0)
18:11:35 <nirik> #topic ticket #1125 httpd-itk broken over release because httpd updated without dependencies caring and maintainer refuse
18:11:35 <nirik> fixing .fesco 1125
18:11:35 <nirik> https://fedorahosted.org/fesco/ticket/1125
18:11:37 <abadger1999> yeah -- if they turned it off but left the package installed, when they yum updated, it would suddenly be back on again.
18:11:48 <abadger1999> but htat's it
18:12:19 <nirik> that could be anoying for some I suppose.
18:12:46 <sgallagh> Proposal: Leave jorton alone to do his work in peace
18:12:47 * jkaluza is here in any need, but he's just comaintainer
18:13:30 <notting> sgallagh: i wouldn't phrase it like that, but i'm fine with waiting for the upstream release with the added API before doing anything with httpd
18:13:54 <jwb> notting, yes
18:13:59 <mitr> In _principle_ this kind of thing should be possible - "upstream first", not "upstream only"
18:14:00 <nirik> so if this is a fork, why does it need the main one to change anything?
18:14:11 <nirik> I guess it just builds a module for httpd?
18:14:15 <jkaluza> If I understand it right, httpd-itk was in current state for 16 months
18:14:16 <mitr> However I don't see a strong case for overriding upstream
18:14:18 * nirik meant to look more into this, but hasn't.
18:14:32 <sgallagh> nirik: It's not *exactly* a fork
18:14:46 <sgallagh> It used to carry a bundled copy of the older HTTPD 2.2 with these patches.
18:14:53 <notting> nirik: it's a MPM for apache. you used to have to build them by including the httpd source code. httpd 2.4 had changes to allow building them as modules, but (i assume) they're not complete enough to allow it to build/work
18:15:09 <sgallagh> The upstream accepted them into the mainline for 2.4, so they want to drop their bundle, but jorton doesn't want to pull the patches until they're in a stable release.
18:15:28 <jkaluza> ^ that's it
18:15:30 <nirik> ok, so cannot they continue to bundle for now?
18:15:34 <jwb> they can
18:15:59 <jkaluza> that's what I suggested in the fesco ticket
18:16:28 <jkaluza> bundle for now, build httpd-itk and once the upstream release version with the patches they need, they can build it as module
18:16:41 <nirik> seems reasonable to me.
18:16:44 <sgallagh> I agree with this plan fully
18:16:55 * pjones is going to be afk for a few, apologies.
18:17:10 <nirik> someone care to put forward a proposal?
18:17:12 <mitr> Well, it does mean having to manually mirror every httpd patch in the httpd-itk copy, which is pretty ugly
18:17:38 <jkaluza> mitr: it used to work like that with 2.2, right?
18:17:40 <sgallagh> mitr: But no worse than their traditional approach
18:17:42 <nirik> sure, it's non ideal...
18:17:48 <notting> proposal (from jkaluza): bundle code in httpd-itk for now, build httpd-itk and once the upstream httpd version is released with the patches they need, they can build it as module
18:17:54 <nirik> +1
18:18:00 <sgallagh> notting: +1
18:18:19 <mitr> notting: Can the migration be transparent for users? It might mean waiting for F20
18:18:29 <mitr> +1 to the general idea
18:18:34 <notting> mitr: i don't know. jkaluza - ideas?
18:18:47 <jwb> i think the maintainer of httpd-itk can worry about that
18:18:53 <mitr> notting: Right now httpd-itk says "disable httpd service; enable httpd-itk". But what jwb said.
18:19:03 <jwb> i don't think we need to force the httpd maintainers to worry about itk at all
18:19:37 <mitr> Well, in a "can't we all get along" sense, it would be nice if they did anyway :)
18:20:00 <jwb> we aren't here to make people get along.
18:20:07 <jwb> that's the CWG.
18:20:14 <jkaluza> mitr: what migration do you mean? from the proposed httpd-itk built with bundled httpd-2.4 to some future version build against system 2.4?
18:20:18 <nirik> I think it's more just a disagreement about carrying non upstreamed patches. I don't think anyone is being difficult to get along with.
18:20:56 <jwb> nirik, right. and i don't think there are sufficient reasons why the itk maintainers can force the httpd maintainers to carry patches they don't want to
18:21:05 * nirik nods.
18:21:10 <mitr> jkaluza: Yes. I agree with the general resolution ("let itk do the work this time"), just pointing out that the migration will not necessarily be user-invisible.
18:21:11 <jwb> it's a separate package currently, it can continue to be so
18:21:17 * notting is +1 to the proposal, if it wasn't obvious
18:21:28 <nirik> thats +4
18:21:30 <nirik> more votes?
18:21:34 <abadger1999> eh bundling probably needs an FPC exception which might not be grantd -- otoh, might be granted for a limited time frameframe... we've done that before.
18:21:41 <jwb> did i vote +!?
18:21:44 <jwb> er, +1?
18:21:46 <jwb> if not, +1
18:21:56 <jkaluza> mitr: if we accept the patches for httpd now and they will build httpd-itk against system httpd-2.4, then users will have to change their configuration anyway
18:22:02 <abadger1999> I'm for the general concept of *not* forcing the httpd maintainer on this though.
18:22:02 <nirik> abadger1999: is it on the tracker? it hopefully does seem like a limited time thing
18:22:22 <jkaluza> mitr: they at least have to unload default MPM in httpd configuration file and load httpd-itk MPM
18:22:56 <nirik> so, thats +5...
18:23:03 <nirik> any other votes before I close it out? ;)
18:23:15 <abadger1999> nirik: there hasn't been an FPC ticket that I can recall.
18:23:43 <abadger1999> but that's all I know so far :-)
18:23:51 <dan408> wasnt there one FPC ticket filed against leigh123linux?
18:23:51 <mitr> jkaluza: that's a change at time of switch to itk. I'm talking about a possible change on itk upgrade from the non-bundled to bundled version. Anyway, let's leave this to the httpd-itk maintainer.
18:24:38 <jkaluza> mitr: I'm not sure I follow now, there's no non-bundled httpd-itk version available in fedora right now.
18:25:11 <nirik> #agreed bundle code in httpd-itk for now, build httpd-itk and once the upstream httpd version is released with the patches they need, they can build it as module. (+5)
18:25:39 * nirik notes the review for this package seems very cursory. :(

18:26:42 * nirik is +1 to the proposal, seems fine.
18:26:57 <notting> yes, +1. the proposal sounds good.

18:28:54 <nirik> who wants it?
18:29:06 <abadger1999> I can do it.
18:29:11 <abadger1999> oh wait.
18:29:15 <nirik> thanks! oh?
18:29:19 <abadger1999> actually... I might not be around next week
18:29:25 * abadger1999 withdraws volunteering
18:29:29 <nirik> ok.
18:29:32 <nirik> anyone else?
18:29:39 <notting> sure, i'll do it
18:29:41 <sgallagh> I haven't had a turn in a whiel
18:29:46 <sgallagh> or notting is fine too
18:30:55 * nirik doesn't care. :) I guess notting was first?

18:31:05 <nirik> #topic Open Floor
18:31:11 <nirik> any items for open floor?

18:31:42 <sgallagh> -1 ;-)
18:31:45 <nirik> when is the new fesco first meeting?
18:32:00 <jwb> 26th?
18:33:01 <nirik> there's a week on the schedule to 'announce results'
18:33:15 <nirik> anyhow, everyone should try and attend next week and any new folks can also...
18:34:01 <nirik> any other open floor items?
18:34:32 <sgallagh> Yeah, someone needs to patch that hole in the floor. Someone could get hurt.
18:34:42 <sgallagh> (sorry)
18:34:58 <jwb> are all the current members going to flock?
18:35:15 <sgallagh> jwb: I know mmaslano wasn't going to make it
18:35:21 <sgallagh> (Having just been at Summit)
18:36:41 * nirik should be there.
18:37:02 <mitr> me as well
18:37:02 <sgallagh> I'll be there, for the record. You are forewarned.
18:37:09 <notting> i'll miss the first day, but should be there for the rest
18:37:19 <jwb> sgallagh, i hope so. you're giving 1/2 the talks.
18:37:37 <sgallagh> Well, unless my daughter makes an early appearance.
18:37:52 <sgallagh> jwb: Crap, did it seriously work out that way?
18:37:56 <jwb> no
18:38:00 <jwb> but you have a lot.
18:38:17 <nirik> jwb: schedule is going to be announced later this week?
18:38:33 <sgallagh> Well, most of them are supposed to be discussions, not presentations. I would hope to be more a moderator than anything else
18:38:37 <jwb> i'm hoping so. the committee seems to have all weighed in.
18:38:51 <jwb> waiting for final approval from everyone i guess
18:39:45 <nirik> excellent.
18:40:56 <nirik> ok, will close out the meeting in a min if nothing more.
18:41:58 <nirik> thanks for coming everyone!

* LINK:
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/attachment.cgi?id=761490&action=diff
(adamw, 16:24:29)
* AGREED: 974643 - RejectedBlocker AcceptedFreezeException - Serial
console options are persisted for primary arch using grub and as
such, this does not violate any release criteria and is not a
blocker. However, a tested fix would be considered past freeze.
(tflink, 16:29:44)
* (974711) Drop HAL and beefy install 'ad banners' for F19 final(?)

16:29:55)
* Proposed Blocker, fedora-logos, NEW (tflink, 16:29:58)
* AGREED: 974711 - AcceptedFreezeException - This is a very visable
polish issue that can't be fixed with an update post-release.
Waiting on feedback from design team before making a decision on
blocker status. (tflink, 16:41:43)
* (974063) Ignore Google documents without a thumbnail URI (tflink,

16:42:16)
* Proposed Blocker, gjs, ON_QA (tflink, 16:42:16)
* AGREED: 974063 - RejectedBlocker AcceptedFreezeException - This does
not violate any of the F19 release criteria (GNOME Documents works
in most cases) and is thus rejected as a release blocking bug for
F19 final. However, a tested fix would be considered past freeze.
(tflink, 16:53:59)
* (974778) Wrong locale set by g-s-d with single quote (tflink,
16:54:13)
* LINK: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=974778 (tflink,
16:54:13)
* Proposed Blocker, gnome-settings-daemon, MODIFIED (tflink,
16:54:13)
* AGREED: 974778 - AcceptedBlocker - Violates the following F19 final
release criterion for non-english installs: "All applications listed
under the Applications menu or category must withstand a basic
functionality test and not crash after a few minutes of normal use."
(tflink, 17:04:34)
* (974038) [abrt] gnome-shell-3.8.3-1.fc19: wrapped_gobj_toggle_notify:
Process /usr/bin/gnome-shell was killed by signal 5 (SIGTRAP)
(tflink, 17:04:41)
* LINK: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=974038 (tflink,
17:04:44)
* Proposed Blocker, gnome-shell, NEW (tflink, 17:04:47)
* AGREED: 974038 - RejectedBlocker - This doesn't seem to be happening
often enough to justify blocking the release of F19. Please
repropose as a blocker if more reports start coming in. If upstream
is of the opinion that this is important, please propose as FE.
(tflink, 17:17:32)
* (974032) bug reporting doesn't work from LiveCD (tflink, 17:17:41)
* LINK: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=974032 (tflink,
17:17:41)
* Proposed Blocker, python-meh, POST (tflink, 17:17:41)
* AGREED: 974032 - AcceptedBlocker - Violates the following F19 alpha
release criterion for live installs: "The installer must be able to
report failures to Bugzilla, with appropriate information included."
(tflink, 17:25:52)
* (974691) Since cleaning up from #974132, nothing gets written to
/var/log/messages (tflink, 17:26:03)

* AGREED: 974691 - We need more data on how many people are affected
by this bug and whether any of the listed workarounds work. Will
revisit when more data is available. (tflink, 17:37:21)
* (973849) SELinux is preventing /usr/libexec/accounts-daemon from
'read' accesses on the directory /var/log. (tflink, 17:38:36)
* LINK: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=973849 (tflink,
17:38:39)
* Proposed Blocker, selinux-policy-targeted, ON_QA (tflink, 17:38:42)
* AGREED: 973849 - AcceptedBlocker - Violates the following F19 final
release criterion: "In most cases, there must be no SELinux 'AVC:
denied' messages or abrt crash notifications on initial boot and
subsequent login (see Blocker_Bug_FAQ)" (tflink, 17:43:58)
* (974784) live image composing in koji broken (tflink, 17:44:13)

17:44:13)
* Proposed Blocker, system-config-keyboard, NEW (tflink, 17:44:13)
* AGREED: 974784 - AcceptedBlocker - This blocks the process for
creating live images and we can't continue testing until it is
fixed. Thus, accepted as a release blocking bug for F19 final.
(tflink, 17:48:21)
* (974198) missing letters on various anaconda screens with spice
graphics (tflink, 17:48:33)
* LINK: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=974198 (tflink,

(Viking-Ice, 18:03:24)
* AGREED: 974198 - AcceptedBlocker - While the cause is still not 100%
clear, this appears to be serious and widespread enough to justify
blocker status. Violates the following F19 release criterion for
live installs in a VM using spice/qxl (installation screens are
garbled, making the process difficult if not impossible): "The
installer must be able to complete an installation using all
supported interfaces" (tflink, 18:12:43)
* (924162) A software selection with dependency errors is allowed to
proceed if the dependency check runs twice (tflink, 18:12:59)
* LINK: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=924162 (tflink,
18:13:02)
* Proposed Blocker, yum, NEW (tflink, 18:13:05)
* AGREED: 924162 - AcceptedBlocker - Violates the following F19 alpha
release criteria for netinstalls when the main repos have depsolving
errors, leading to a broken install: "When doing a graphical install
using the dedicated installer images, the installer must be able to
install each of the release blocking desktops, as well as the
minimal package set." (tflink, 18:36:54)
* (968808) Interlingua installs result in errors setting locale and
apparent failure of g-i-s to create a user account (tflink, 18:43:53)
* LINK: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=968808 (tflink,
18:43:56)
* Proposed Freeze Exceptions, anaconda, MODIFIED (tflink, 18:43:58)
* AGREED: 968808 - AcceptedFreezeException - Locale issues
post-install can be pretty ugly and would be best to fix before
release. A tested fix would be considered after freeze. (tflink,
18:51:10)
* (971050) initial-setup runs to completion on F19-TC1 but does not make
any changes (tflink, 18:51:20)
* LINK: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=971050 (tflink,
18:51:23)
* Proposed Freeze Exceptions, initial-setup, POST (tflink, 18:51:26)
* AGREED: 971050 - AcceptedFreezeException - This causes problems in
the initial configuration of the ARM images and would be nice to fix
prior to release. A tested fix would be considered after freeze.
(tflink, 18:59:39)
* (971117) No processing for event 'report_Uploader' is defined
(tflink, 19:00:47)
* LINK: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=971117 (tflink,
19:00:50)
* Proposed Freeze Exceptions, libreport, ON_QA (tflink, 19:00:52)
* AGREED: 971117 - AcceptedFreezeException - The file reporter is not
required to work in the event of an installer traceback but it can
be rather useful and can't be fixed with a post-release update. A
tested fix would be considered after freeze. (tflink, 19:03:40)
* Open Floor (tflink, 19:06:33)
Meeting ended at 19:18:40 UTC.

19:00:07 <nirik> who all is around for a infrastructure meeting?
19:00:18 <kc4zvw_> is here
19:00:20 <jerzyr> here
19:00:23 * bitlord
19:00:42 * lmacken
19:00:57 <methanigai> Hi, This is Thanigairajan (methanigai) from Chennai-India, working as Linux systeam Administrator , willing to contribute for foss with my domain knowledge and ready to learn newthings . and this is my first meeting.
19:01:06 <nirik> welcome methanigai
19:01:17 <nirik> #topic New folks introductions and Apprentice tasks
19:01:47 <nirik> methanigai: are you interested in sysadmin or application development/coding?
19:02:35 <methanigai> In Sysadmin . I donot have much knowledge in coding. I have basic knowledge in coding.
19:02:41 * abadger1999 here
19:02:54 <nirik> ok, fair enough. ;) See me in #fedora-admin after the meeting and I can help you get started.
19:03:03 <nirik> any other new folks, or apprentices with questions?
19:03:24 <methanigai> Sure Nirik. Thanks
19:04:37 <nirik> #topic Fedora 19 final freeze next week
19:04:45 <nirik> so, we go into final freeze next tuesday.
19:04:58 <nirik> #info mdomsch is going to work on landing mirrormanager 1.4 tomorrow
19:05:12 <nirik> are there other items we want to get set before freeze? any releases of applications, etc?
19:06:25 * nirik listens to crickets. ;)
19:06:34 <nirik> pingou: were you going to try and land a new calendar?
19:06:55 <pingou> nirik: I hope so but $dayjob takes some time so not sure I can make it before freeze
19:07:02 <nirik> ok, no worries.
19:07:08 <pingou> tx :)
19:07:26 <nirik> anyhow, if there are things you want to get landed before freeze, the time is now. ;)
19:07:29 <nirik> #topic Applications status / discussion
19:07:36 <nirik> any applications news this week?
19:07:48 <smooge> nirik, mm
19:07:51 <pingou> the main things are in or in p-r, only the port to openid is missing
19:08:21 <nirik> smooge: yep. tomorrow. ;)
19:08:25 <smooge> through a great effort by mdomsch and skvidal, meeting manager is now running on seperate app servers
19:08:39 <smooge> s/meeting/mirror/
19:08:40 <smooge> geez
19:08:51 <nirik> yep. :) Splitting those out is a great thing...
19:09:29 <nirik> I know threebean and oddshocks have been busy working on badges...
19:09:35 <nirik> and we have some badges staging hosts now.
19:10:54 <abadger1999> Do you want to talk about how/if we can do that split for other apps?
19:11:10 <nirik> sure, we can. I think we want to move to doing that...
19:11:15 <abadger1999> <nod>
19:11:35 * oddshocks is here
19:11:38 * oddshocks is late
19:11:38 <nirik> in the case of mirrormanager we put them in other datacenters... for other apps that need db, it's probibly best to put any instances in phx2.
19:12:42 <nirik> welcome oddshocks
19:13:28 <pingou> ah I still want to have a look at the cron job for orphaned packages
19:13:50 <pingou> maybe something for tomorrow morning (prepare the commit and ask for review)
19:14:21 <nirik> sure. ;)
19:14:34 <nirik> oddshocks: you have a badges update for us? or just work ongoing...
19:15:03 <oddshocks> Fixed a few tests this morning, codebase is cleaning up nicely, adding authorization stuff... anddddd
19:15:16 <oddshocks> Fedora cloud node has a demo: http://209.132.184.190/
19:15:26 <oddshocks> Remy here in the FOSSBox has been playing around with adding badges, as you can see
19:15:43 <oddshocks> Not really any user functionality yet, but this week will see a lot of cool metrics and stuff added hopefully
19:15:55 <oddshocks> and at that point it'll be more interesting for end users :)
19:16:15 <nirik> excellent.
19:16:21 <oddshocks> (some things are also probably a little broken since there are a lot of back-end changes in progress right now, had to do some database changes)
19:16:24 * nirik looks forward to it.
19:16:37 <oddshocks> But overall things are awesome and we're keeping in-contact with Open Badges people and related projects :)
19:16:41 <nirik> #info badges work ongoing
19:17:26 <nirik> ok, any other application news?
19:17:32 <lmacken> I did a bodhi1 release earlier this week to fix some updateinfo.xml bugs that were confusing yum. hopefully it's all good and we don't need another update before the freeze
19:17:46 <nirik> lmacken: cool.
19:17:57 <lmacken> bodhi2 development is rolling along. working on the json API now.
19:18:04 <nirik> lmacken: oh, did we ever get to the bottom of bodhi fedmsg messages?
19:18:27 <nirik> excellent. ;) Look forward to seeing it.
19:18:35 <lmacken> nirik: hmm? I was n't aware of an issue
19:18:49 <lmacken> did the masher stop sending messages again?
19:19:08 <nirik> yeah.. updates/karma are all fine, it's the masher/pushing process that doesn't I don't think.
19:19:29 <lmacken> hmm… probably the threading issue again. will look into it with bean.
19:20:06 <nirik> ok, sorry for not mentioning it sooner. :(
19:20:24 <lmacken> no worries :) at least it isn't blocking the push
19:20:48 <lmacken> random stat: 340 current fedmsg sessions
19:21:07 <nirik> #info 340 current fedmsg sessions now. :)
19:21:14 <nirik> #topic Sysadmin status / discussion
19:21:17 <nirik> lets see...
19:21:41 <nirik> #info new storage move will happen after f19 release, to be scheduled. Will entail a 24 hour outage for koji most likely.
19:21:53 <smooge> cool
19:21:56 <nirik> #info new bladecenter hardware should hopefully be on-line soon.
19:22:18 <nirik> #info mass reboots earlier this week.
19:22:39 <nirik> smooge: any other items you had?
19:22:56 <smooge> getting disk fixed for vh10,
19:23:00 <nirik> #info migration to ansible is going along nicely. New machines have been added there
19:23:10 <smooge> getting permanent certs from Dell
19:23:13 <nirik> oh yeah. We waiting on getting serial num?
19:23:19 <smooge> getting quotes for purchases this year
19:23:37 <smooge> nirik turns out I had the serial number.. it got put in the wrong folder. fixing it after this meeting
19:23:48 <smooge> s/year/quarter/
19:23:56 <nirik> smooge: cool. ok. Happily vh10 is a staging machine, so we can replace the drive whenever.
19:24:27 <nirik> #info planning on adding memory to virthosts to increase density and replace two bvirthosts this quarter
19:24:27 * smooge happily learning KDE for a bit and learning ansible for setting up my laptop
19:24:56 <nirik> ok, any other stuff on the sysadmin side?
19:25:00 <smooge> getting an idea of when in July I can go to PHX2
19:25:17 <nirik> yeah, we need to schedule that. :)
19:25:30 <nirik> I have a small list of items for on-site work I have been adding to... can shoot it your way
19:25:46 <smooge> and getting an updated inventory before we get there
19:26:03 <smooge> we still need to decide which one one of us gets the short straw :)
19:26:31 <smooge> I figure it will be whoever can get there cheaper since spot's budget is very very tight this q
19:26:56 <nirik> yeah, although if it's me, it will have to be later in july probibly.
19:27:01 <nirik> but we can sort it out.
19:27:09 <nirik> #topic Flock
19:27:23 <nirik> Any items we want to discuss about the upcoming flock conference?
19:27:32 <nirik> voting on talks is over and a number of ours did well.
19:27:38 <nirik> but final talks are not yet decided.
19:28:40 <nirik> #topic Upcoming Tasks/Items
19:28:41 <nirik> https://apps.fedoraproject.org/calendar/list/infrastructure/
19:28:50 <nirik> anything anyone would like to note or schedule on the calendar?
19:30:26 <nirik> #topic Open Floor
19:30:34 <nirik> anything for open floor? questions? comments?
19:31:38 <nirik> ok then. ;) Do continue in #fedora-admin, #fedora-noc, and #fedora-apps. :)

18:01:32 <nirik> #topic Week in review
18:01:45 <nirik> Anything anyone would like to note from the previous week?
18:01:50 <nirik> new bugs? new trends?
18:02:19 <DiscordianUK> we now support beta f19
18:02:20 <EvilBob> The wholesale flushing of the ban list when a new release goes beta sucks
18:02:32 <DiscordianUK> It's very stable ish
18:02:49 <EvilBob> I feel we should reconsider this policy
18:02:53 <nirik> I expect we will start seeing more people jump on f19
18:03:27 <DiscordianUK> Indeed nirik
18:03:36 <j_dulaney> !
18:03:36 <nirik> EvilBob: we could. I think it's nice to give people more chances, but I agree that some people are beyond hope.
18:03:53 <nirik> j_dulaney: just chime right in. :)
18:04:15 <EvilBob> nirik: For "most" I would agree, but there are some that are beyond hope
18:04:20 * j_dulaney noted something this last Tuesday that was disturbing in #fedora-social
18:04:32 <nirik> j_dulaney: could we wait for that for open floor?
18:04:34 <j_dulaney> Relevant log:
18:04:39 <j_dulaney> nirik: Roger
18:04:46 <j_dulaney> EOF for now
18:04:49 <Southern_Gentlem> motions that the ones beyound hope and voted on in a meeting one week before the ban clear
18:04:55 <nirik> EvilBob: so, perhaps we should look at a seperate perm ban for those hopeless cases...
18:05:35 <EvilBob> j_dulaney: also before pasting a log we normally remove nicks to prevent tainting someone's reputation
18:05:41 <DiscordianUK> I think we should consider that yes
18:05:52 <EvilBob> nirik: I like Southern_Gentlem's suggestion
18:06:02 <DiscordianUK> +1 too
18:06:22 <nirik> so, a week before clear someone (?) generates a list and we vote on not clearing those people?
18:06:26 <Southern_Gentlem> one meeting right before the clearing of the ban we go through the ban list and vote on the beyound hope
18:06:32 * nirik isn't sure he's against it, just wants to understand the process first
18:07:00 <EvilBob> Southern_Gentlem: +1
18:07:01 <nirik> sure, I'm ok with that.
18:07:14 <N3LRX> Southern_Gentlem, +1
18:07:18 <Southern_Gentlem> nirik, so one week before beta i going to be released we at this meeting go through the ban list and decide not to clear or clear
18:07:36 <EvilBob> Or in a ticket
18:07:53 <nirik> Southern_Gentlem: sure, but for simplicty sake, I think we should just say "clear unless..." and people can note those that they feel are hopeless.
18:08:09 <Southern_Gentlem> should be a ticket for this every release cycle
18:08:16 <EvilBob> ticket is better than a meeting IMO, better record keeping and better coverage for those that can't make the meeting
18:08:31 <DiscordianUK> nirik +1
18:08:49 <Southern_Gentlem> that way whomever clears the list will know who and who not to clear
18:08:51 <nirik> sure, ticket is fine, I just don't want to have a long list of mostly ones we don't care if we clear.
18:08:57 <EvilBob> "Hey beta is coming, take a look at the ban list. Is there any bans that should stay?"
18:09:00 <DiscordianUK> someone must indicate that we must vote
18:09:11 <nirik> I think the hopeless ones are much fewer than the entire list, and it's probibly pretty clear who.
18:09:24 <DiscordianUK> Quite
18:09:36 <EvilBob> Yeah and I don't think we should "publish" those that we are going to clear anyhow.
18:10:09 <Southern_Gentlem> agreed
18:10:11 <nirik> right.
18:10:16 <DiscordianUK> Well yes
18:10:20 <EvilBob> If we ask our membership for those that think should stay it would be a shorter list and better overall.
18:10:25 <nirik> +1
18:10:38 <N3LRX> EvilBob, +1
18:10:42 <DiscordianUK> +1
18:11:09 <nirik> #agreed 1 week before beta we will consider some banned users who should not be cleared due to multiple repeated cycles of issues.
18:11:17 <nirik> anything else on week in review or on this?
18:11:43 <DiscordianUK> I've nothing more
18:11:45 <Southern_Gentlem> nope but i do have some feedback from SELF
18:12:04 <nirik> ok, save for open floor? or you want to do it now?
18:12:12 <Southern_Gentlem> open floor
18:12:20 <nirik> ok.
18:12:22 <nirik> #topic ticket #147 Feedback should be much easier to give
18:12:30 <nirik> This is still open and hasn't had much progress...
18:12:48 <nirik> I guess I just wanted to poke it and see if there's any actions ? or if anyone wants to comment further on ticket.
18:12:49 <Southern_Gentlem> i dont see how it is going to be any easier to be truthful
18:13:24 <Southern_Gentlem> i can see there argument about wanting it to be without registration but i dont see that happening either
18:13:28 <DiscordianUK> We require people to register else it'd just be a spam fest
18:14:26 <nirik> I'm open to changes to the trac page...
18:14:32 <nirik> or other things we can do like that...
18:14:46 <nirik> anyhow, I guess I'll comment more and try and get some concrete set of actions from it.
18:15:18 <nirik> anything more on this?
18:15:40 <N3LRX> how mach spam can we expect if the gates are opened?
18:15:50 <nirik> N3LRX: anon trac tickets?
18:15:52 <nirik> vast amounts.
18:15:59 <N3LRX> ok
18:16:08 <EvilBob> I don't care for "Anonymous Coward" tickets
18:16:16 <nirik> I know for sure, as we found a project that had it open like that when we were migrating hosted.
18:16:26 <nirik> there were 10's of thousands of spam tickets.
18:16:38 <nirik> spammers will use it.
18:16:46 <nirik> #topic Open Floor
18:16:52 <nirik> j_dulaney: you want to go now?
18:16:55 <nirik> then Southern_Gentlem
18:17:05 <j_dulaney> nirik: Let him go first
18:17:12 <j_dulaney> Mine may go longish
18:17:13 <nirik> ok. ;)
18:17:20 <Southern_Gentlem> i have a feeling its the same issue
18:17:28 <j_dulaney> Nope
18:17:36 <j_dulaney> Mine is post-SELF
18:18:43 <Southern_Gentlem> well at SELF we had someone come up to the table and had a complaint that they had came in the Fedora channel and at the mere mention they were looking to use nvidia drivers were harrassed to the point that they left the channel
18:19:16 <Southern_Gentlem> I asked them did anyone mention using rpmfusion drivers or anything like that ?
18:19:35 <nirik> did they have any nick or approx time so folks could look at logs?
18:19:37 <Southern_Gentlem> nope nothing more than you should use the Open source drivers
18:19:40 <EvilBob> Do you have logs?
18:19:53 <Southern_Gentlem> of course not and no nicks either
18:20:00 <nirik> :(
18:20:20 <EvilBob> No nicks, no date, no time... sadly no problem...
18:20:31 <Southern_Gentlem> i explained to them if it ever happened again please do an @ops and look for me nirik
18:20:32 <DiscordianUK> alas I'd suggest rpmfusion
18:20:35 <nirik> I think it's perfectly valid to avise people to avoid non free drivers... but if they want to, you should point them to docs, etc...
18:20:51 <nirik> and at no time should anyone be hostile about it. ;(
18:21:08 * EvilBob has been staying away from all the closed crap drivers
18:21:18 <Southern_Gentlem> i just want us to be careful to not to jump people just because they mention propeiritary drivers
18:21:21 <EvilBob> nirik: "hostile"
18:21:52 <nirik> yeah. Not sure there's much we can do without more info... but I guess be aware about it.
18:21:52 <EvilBob> nirik: this "hostile" could have been one user discouraging their use and no one else around.
18:22:01 <nirik> EvilBob: indeed it could have been.
18:22:27 <EvilBob> Southern_Gentlem: Plenty of people use the CSC Drivers because that is what they have always done
18:22:28 <nirik> "don't use the binary only drivers!" "stop stop, you're opressing me"
18:22:46 <EvilBob> Southern_Gentlem: Ignoring the improvements in the free drivers
18:23:36 <EvilBob> So many people jump to "non-free" with out even trying the open and free solutions out of habit.
18:23:40 <EvilBob> errr
18:23:42 <EvilBob> without
18:24:25 * nirik nods.
18:24:32 <nirik> ok, anything else on this?
18:25:21 <EvilBob> NEXT!
18:25:27 <j_dulaney> I guess that's me
18:25:36 <j_dulaney> http://fpaste.org/18501/
18:25:52 <EvilBob> Thanks for coming everyone
18:25:52 <j_dulaney> That's the logs for what happened over in fedora-social Tuesday evening
18:26:09 * j_dulaney notes that one of our female members was offended
18:27:06 <Southern_Gentlem> j_dulaney, file a real ticket with the real logs so we can deal with this
18:27:28 * j_dulaney was just told above to remove nicks
18:27:29 <Southern_Gentlem> i suspect i already know who it is
18:27:41 <EvilBob> Yeah, I made a joke. I had no idea that tatica would get bent over it
18:27:58 <nirik> https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Fedora_Social_Channel_FAQ notes:
18:28:10 <nirik> "Note that sometimes discussion in the channel will contain strong language and ribald jokes"
18:29:16 <EvilBob> j_dulaney: Sadly there is some added history here
18:29:28 <EvilBob> j_dulaney: a LOT of added history
18:29:57 <nirik> it reads like misunderstandings to me... joke that wasn't taken as a joke, etc.
18:30:08 <EvilBob> j_dulaney: For the longest time I have been able to joke and have fun with the other party and she would give it right back
18:31:23 <EvilBob> j_dulaney: recently the "Oppressed women in India" poster contest has made the other party a bit testy toward me when I have asked questions about it because I was curious.
18:31:25 * j_dulaney just worries about pissing people off too much for no real reason
18:31:39 <Southern_Gentlem> EvilBob, i have noticed she has been different since her bf popped the question i suspect its stress over the wedding
18:32:26 <nirik> lets not speculate...
18:32:38 <EvilBob> j_dulaney: If that "contest" and my trying to understand her problems with it has destroyed the friendship I have had with this person... Oh well.
18:32:48 <nirik> I don't think there's anything we can/should do here... aside from asking folks to try and communicate better and be more understanding.
18:32:52 <EvilBob> j_dulaney: It's not on me
18:33:05 <j_dulaney> nirik: That's all I ask
18:33:46 <nirik> Anything else on this? or shall we call it a meeting?
18:33:48 <N3LRX> I'll agree to the misunderstanding. Perhaps she was just having a bad day and took the joke to hard. It happens to all of us.
18:34:05 <EvilBob> N3LRX: It's more than that
18:34:18 <Southern_Gentlem> shoot and put it out of its misery
18:34:41 <EvilBob> N3LRX: I can post logs from the other day about this "poster contest" where she was down right rude to me because I was trying to clear something up
18:34:55 * mdomsch interrupts
18:34:56 <mdomsch> Fedora Town Hall at 1900UTC (3pm US-Eastern) with the Board candidates. Visit https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Elections#IRC_Town_Halls for information on how to participate and pose questions to the candidates.
18:35:15 <EvilBob> N3LRX: This was BEFORE my poorly received joke
18:35:15 <nirik> thanks for the reminder mdomsch. ;)
18:35:28 <nirik> anyhow, will close the meeting in about a minute if nothing more.
18:35:37 <j_dulaney> EOF from me
18:35:54 <EvilBob> N3LRX: It took nirik's help to clear up my simple question
18:36:19 <nirik> Thanks for coming everyone.
