I filed mindshare ticket number 40 in Pagure to request funding for LISA18. I’m planning on going and mattdm is also. We haven’t had meetings in a few weeks and I would like to go ahead and make travel plans since the event is in about a month, so I thought we could possibly vote in a ticket.

Brian, Nick, It was my understanding that the NA budget is in the red so we have been kicking any tickets towards mindshare. It also was my understanding that the committee was to also be involved in making the decisions on budget and the event. With that said I realize that nothing is finalized and there is no supporting documentation we should move forward and try the system out. The only way to see if the program/committee is functional is to try it out. Mindshare being a meeting-only committee is too limiting. I hope we can both resolve this ticket and move things forward this week, in and out of the meeting.
