Fedora 42 has reached END OF LIFE

Greetings mirror admins, Fedora Linux 42 has now reached end of life and has been successfully staged to the archive locations. The archived content is now available under: /pub/archive/fedora/linux/releases/42 /pub/archive/fedora/linux/updates/42 /pub/archive/fedora/linux/updates/testing/42 /pub/archive/fedora-secondary/releases/42 /pub/archive/fedora-secondary/updates/42 /pub/archive/fedora-secondary/updates/testing/42 This includes all necessary content for releases, updates, and updates/testing for both the primary and secondary architectures. In two weeks, we will proceed with removing the Fedora 42 content from the main mirrors. If there is anything else we need to take care of, please let us know so that we may plan accordingly. Mirror country option oddities

Hi, I've found an issue with the public active mirrors page on https://mirrormanager.fedoraproject.org/mirrors/Fedora/43/x86_64?page_size=… [1] Once you use the country filter and select GB (Great Britain - United Kingdom), the filter returns KR mirror not GB mirrors, which is a little odd. I also use &country=gb in my metalink mirrorlist to hopefully get mirror servers in my country. For the fedora-43 repo it returns gb mirrors as expected but when I request updates-released-f43 it returns mirrors from around Europe, including Russia. Is this a bug with the mirrorlist service, as I feel the country query param should be respected still. Repo metadata discrepancies for Fedora 44 updates

Hello all, I hope I'm at the right place for this. Since yesterday I notice problems with fetching updates for Fedora 44 on x86_64. E.g. http://fedora.tu-chemnitz.de/pub/linux/fedora/linux/updates/44/Everything/x… contains a reference to the file [http://fedora.tu-chemnitz.de/pub/linux/fedora/linux/updates/44/Everything/x… which does not exist. The part in the square brackets is the implicit part of the URL. I notice that the repomd.xml file is from 2026-04-30 whereas the other files in the directory are from 2026-05-04. To me it looks like the repomd.xml file does not get updated anymore on this mirror. When forcing a machine to pull updates from this mirror dnf throws "Status code: 404" errors. (Forcing == running a CI system with an own, local Fedora mirror which (r)syncs from fedora.tu-chemnitz.de and force the CI VMs to use this local mirror for repeatable test runs). But this problem does not exist everywhere. On https://mirror.rabisu.com/mirrors/fedora/linux/updates/44/Everything/x86_64… repomd.xml seems date-wise up2date and it does not contain this missing reference anymore. The other files in this directory also differ from the previous mirror. Using this mirror dnf does not throw errors. Maybe you can trace this discrepancy to its root cause? cu Michi
