Hi,
Our mirror, lug.mtu.edu, is interested in becoming a Tier 1 mirror for Fedora and Fedora EPEL. This year we were upgrading to a 1Gb/s connection. I’ve including our information below. Let me know if you need anything else. If there is a system for push mirroring (similar to Ubuntu/Debian) we’d love to set that up too.

Right now the load on our master mirrors as already rather high, so that we prefer mirrors pulling from other Tier 1 mirrors. So if being a Tier 2 mirror is also an option for you we would love to have you as a mirror. If there are any additional questions regarding our mirror setup, do not hesitate to ask.

Hi Adrian,
Ah, I see. So, right now we are mirroring dl.fedoraproject.org::fedora-enchilada, from what I’m seeing that’s actually wrong, right? How do we go about getting the prebitflip content from a Tier 1 mirror? Should we just email the contact on this page, https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Infrastructure/Mirroring/Tiering ?
Thanks, Jared Ledvina

Yes, contact the Tier 1 mirror which works best for you and Tier1 mirrors usually have a hidden rsync module which they can give you access to. They might even support push mirroring but that really depends on the Tier 1 mirror you contact.
