MeeGo on Fedora 15 KDE Latest Updated
by Angel
Hi,
I am currently running Fedora 15 KDE (installed from Fedora 15 Alpha x86_64
KDE
ISO and today updated through yum update). Now when I tried installing MeeGo
through yum install @meego-netbook, I get some library dependency errors
[1].
Anyone getting the same? Or how to resolve this issue?
Error: Package: network-manager-netbook-1.8-3.fc15.x86_64 (fedora)
Requires: libnm-util.so.1()(64bit)
Error: Package: network-manager-netbook-1.8-3.fc15.x86_64 (fedora)
Requires: libnm-glib.so.2()(64bit)
Error: Package: meego-panel-datetime-0.3.2-5.fc15.x86_64 (fedora)
Requires: libgweather.so.1()(64bit)

Re: Fedora Mini
by Peter Robinson
Hi Angel,
Fedora mini has been renamed Fedora mobility. There's a mailing list
here http://lists.fedoraproject.org/pipermail/mobility/ and all
general questions should be asked there.
Most of meego 1.0 was in Fedora 14 although it didn't work and was
dropped as a feature and will unlikely ever work. I've had meego 1.1
working in Fedora 15 alpha and most of will become 1.2 is in there now
and as I get time I'm hoping to have it in a somewhat working state
for the final release although it won't be an official feature.
Test and report bugs (and even contribute fixes), please do this on
the mailing list and bugzilla not in private emails so everyone can
see what's happening.
