8 bit bleeper/tracker
by William Blackburn
Do you guys happen to know of an audio app that does 8 bit tracking? I have tried milkytracker but I had trouble understanding the cryptic interface. I really like these noises to make music so I was wondering if CCRMA packages anything similar to this?
Thanks a lot,

testing request: audacity, audacity-manual, audacity-freeworld: F14 and F15
by Development discussions related to Fedora
Hi, the new 1.3.13 beta audacity was released a while ago. It's now
available for testing, for Fedora 14 and Fedora 15 (and rawhide). I
would like to get some feedback from others before Sunday night,
including the basic:
- does it run ?
with audacity-manual installed (from Fedora)
- does the help|Quick help and help|manual links work to load help
content quickly (and without an internet connection) ?
- some basic operations: name the menu items you tried.
- recording: should see your waveform ?
- playback: select, play: can you hear it ?
- open, save, import, export...
Should you choose to accept this mission, details follow:
