I also have pushed these patches into my repository, and rebased them upon

WARNING: I didn't known the original authors of many of those patches (are
you
Ethan?) and for now, I blatantly stole them.

Thanks for asking. I'm not actually the author, just a devoted fan ;)
The author (of at least all the dgc prefixed patches, maybe others as well)
is David Champion -
https://bitbucket.org/dgc/mutt-dgc
Some of those patches (maybe all, but I'd have to compare the list again)
are also listed on the mutt patch page:

Like so much useful stuff, I'd love to see the conditional dates and deepif
patches in mutt proper...
Anyhow, nice to see them getting more exposure and I'm glad you folded them
into your own repo. They are quite useful. And for those struggling to make
use of them, take a look at my own muttrc (work in progress, link below
again) for an example of the date conditional / deepif formatting.

I use this, for example, to format my dates as "Today" and
"Yesterday" or
"May 12" depending on age. See

example. The muttrc (work in progress) I'm using for mutt-kz-dgc-git
use is here:
