Hi Alvaro,
thanks for the reports! Our bugtracker is at
http://dev.laptop.org/
Cannot shutdown or reboot
Yup, If I execute sudo reboot, or sudo shutdown XO will be "shutdown"...
unmounting filesystems...et but after say "unmounting" Show this message.
"Reached target shutdown"
So, I need push power button and do force shutdown.
I haven't seen that! I'll try later. Does rebooting from the Sugar UI
work? From GNOME?
Cannot get Internet connection on USB modem or Wireless connection
What steps do you perform to connect from Sugar or GNOME UI? In our
testing, USB modems were connecting correctly purely from GUI.
Yup, I always see this message when I am going to shutdown the olpc:
[FAILED] Failed to start show Plymouth_Reboot Screen.
See 'systemctl status plymouth-reboot.service' for details.
We don't use plymouth at shutdown time :-)
Cheese cannot starts
I have installed cheese webcam software to take photos, recording
videos...et However, I execute cheese command to run it. I get "Segmentation
fault" :(
That is unfortunately known. The problem is that cheese depends on
clutter, which in turn depends on OpenGL. There are efforts underway
to get clutter to use GLES instead (which we can provide).
In the meantime, I can suggest camorama under gnome -
http://dev.laptop.org/ticket/10586 or try installing an old version of
Cheese (not sure if the ARMv7 repos have one).
