Introduction: Outreacy '21 Applicant
by Aditi Singh
Hey everyone! I am Aditi Singh, a sophomore from Birla Institute Of
Technology Mesra, India. I'm proficient in HTML,CSS, Javascript and React
JS. I'm always excited to learn new technologies, interact with people and
learn new things from them. I'm interested in contributing to Project #2
i.e, Improve Fedora QA Dashboard. I have joined the telegram channels:
@joinfedora, @fedoraSummerCoding and @fedoraqa to get familiarized with the
work here and connect with my mentor. I have also created a FAS account,
went through the issues listed in Fedora-qa to find something to work on.
But a little confused how to move forward from here. I would be very
grateful if someone guides me in this :)
Thank you

Announcement about Upcoming Social Hour for Outreachy Applicants!
by Akashdeep Dhar
Hello to all Outreachy Applicants,
This is to let you know that we would be soon having a social hour for Outreachy where the applicants can interact with project mentors and general mentors. This is your opportunity to obtain more information about the projects you are interested in and about the mentors, you would be potentially working with so it is highly recommended to attend this. We do not have a fixed date and time so far as to when this would happen but it is most likely going to be within the next two weeks.
So you ask what you can do by then? Well, I would suggest you start with listing all doubts and questions that you have regarding the projects of your choice or about general participation stuff. If you have solution ideas for the project or anything else, we would be glad to hear them too! Please note that we appreciate asking doubts and no questions are stupid. We would very soon let you know about the date and time when this would go down and by then, we wish you good luck in your participation!
Regards,
Akashdeep Dhar (he/him)

Introduction: Outreachy Summer 2021
by Joshua Young
Hello,
My name is Joshua Young, I am an applicant for the Outreachy Summer 2021 Internship Program. This is my first time applying for Outreachy, and I looking forward to seeing what I can learn from the program as well as how I can utilize my skills to further progress the efforts of another company or community. I am Digital Designer with knowledge and experience using majority of programs within the Adobe Suite. I specialize in Graphic and Web design and I am currently advancing my skills in UX/UI and Animation.
I have always been more comfortable working on my own, and I am hoping through the experience of working in this program can help me gather more confidence to expand my horizons as well as work and collaborate with other individuals who have similar interests in design and technology as I do.
Looking forward to working with everyone,
Best Regards.
