Thanks Justin for all the data, very useful. I'll see around those channels and hope to start making a contribution soon.
I'll speak up if I'm in trouble!

Cheers,
Berenice

Welcome to the Fedora Outreachy mailing list – we're happy to have you
here with us.

I hope the links are helpful for you. If you have any questions, feel
free to ask.

I understand that the Outreachy portal has some suggested beginner tasks
for both projects. I think you have to verify your eligibility as an
intern before you are able to view them. We're working on getting those
listed publicly soon, but you should find them in the Outreachy portal.

The best channels for you to join for this project on Freenode are:

* #fedora-commops (Riot: #freenode_#fedora-commops:matrix.org)
* #fedora-outreachy (Riot: #freenode_#fedora-outreachy:matrix.org)

I forgot to mention these before, but you can also join these channels
to get an idea of what's happening in Fedora:

* #fedora-apps (Riot: #freenode_#fedora-apps:matrix.org)
* #fedora-fedmsg (Riot: #freenode_#fedora-fedmsg:matrix.org)

#fedora-apps is where a lot of development chatter happens about
Fedora's applications we manage. There's a few bots there that emit
notifications about activity on projects.

#fedora-fedmsg is a "live feed" of all fedmsg activity in Fedora. It's
very noisy so you may not want to stay in it long, but it can be
interesting to get an idea of what's actually coming out onto fedmsg.

Thanks for introducing yourself. Let us know if you have any other
questions!
