Hi,
I'm a research student pursuing my Masters in IIIT-Hyderabad. I am keen
on working on 389 Directory Server project.
I have prior experience in configuring, maintaining and managing systems
in an MHRD-India project. I have completed the required course credits
towards my degree and am working on my Thesis currently. It would be
great opportunity for me to learn and start contributing to the open
source community.
As I am a bit new to the community it would be nice if anyone could
guide me to a few useful resources to get me started. I have subscribed
to the 389-develmailing list and I started reading the documentation [1].

Hi Soumya, welcome to the Outreachy list! Happy to hear you're
interested in working with Fedora. :)
For questions specific to 389 Server, the project mentor, William Brown,
is best able to help you. He is CC'd to this email.
Generally, there are ways you can get involved and become familiar with
the Fedora community. You are subscribed to the development mailing
list, which is a good start. You can also join the IRC channel, #389, on
the freenode IRC network. If you're not familiar with IRC or haven't
used it much before, see this guide for a way to get started.

I would also recommend setting up a blog too if you haven't already.
Later, writing about some of the things you work on will be helpful, so
you can be one step ahead by creating your blog. :)
Again, welcome to the Fedora community! Let us know if you have any
further questions.
