--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name : augeas
Product : Fedora 13
Version : 0.7.4
Release : 1.fc13
URL : http://augeas.net/
Summary : A library for changing configuration files
Description :
A library for programmatically editing configuration files. Augeas parses
configuration files into a tree structure, which it exposes through its
public API. Changes made through the API are written back to the initially
read files.
The transformation works very hard to preserve comments and formatting
details. It is controlled by ``lens'' definitions that describe the file
format and the transformation into a tree.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Update Information:
Update to the latest stable version of augeas. Note that this version makes some incompatible changes to the parsing of the following files:
* /etc/fstab: Mount options with values now have the option name and value parsed separately.
* /etc/squid/squid.conf: refresh_pattern, upgrade_http0.9, broken_vary_encoding and extension_methods now have their options parsed individually.
* /etc/xinetd.d/*: Service names are now parsed as values of a key named 'service'
