-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Fedora Update Notification FEDORA-2016-5ec3bf7e66 2016-02-29 05:29:02.551379 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name : glibc Product : Fedora 22 Version : 2.21 Release : 12.fc22 URL : http://www.gnu.org/software/glibc/ Summary : The GNU libc libraries Description : The glibc package contains standard libraries which are used by multiple programs on the system. In order to save disk space and memory, as well as to make upgrading easier, common system code is kept in one place and shared between programs. This particular package contains the most important sets of shared libraries: the standard C library and the standard math library. Without these two libraries, a Linux system will not function.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Update Information:
This update corrects a build issue on s390x where kernel headers from version 4.3 need cause the built glibc to be incompatible with kernel versions before 4.3. Additionally, a superfluous newline character is removed from the date output in Serbian locales. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- References:
