Summary: Review Request: zvbi - Raw VBI, Teletext and Closed
Caption decoding library
Product: Fedora Extras
Version: devel

Severity: normal
Priority: normal
Component: Package Review
AssignedTo: nobody(a)fedoraproject.org
ReportedBy: packages(a)amiga-hardware.com

Spec URL: http://dribble.org.uk/reviews/zvbi.spec
SRPM URL: http://dribble.org.uk/reviews/zvbi-0.2.22-1.src.rpm
Description:
ZVBI provides functions to capture and decode VBI data. The vertical blanking
interval (VBI) is an interval in a television signal that temporarily suspends
transmission of the signal for the electron gun to move back up to the first
line of the television screen to trace the next screen field. The vertical
blanking interval can be used to carry data, since anything sent during the VBI
would naturally not be displayed; various test signals, closed captioning, and
other digital data can be sent during this time period.

Summary: Review Request: perl-Test-Base
Product: Fedora Extras
Version: devel
Platform: All
OS/Version: Linux
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: normal
Component: Package Review
AssignedTo: bugzilla-sink(a)leemhuis.info
ReportedBy: steve(a)silug.org
QAContact: fedora-package-review(a)redhat.com
Spec URL: http://ftp.kspei.com/pub/steve/rpms/perl-Test-Base/perl-Test-Base.spec
SRPM URL: http://ftp.kspei.com/pub/steve/rpms/perl-Test-Base-0.50-1.src.rpm
Description:
Testing is usually the ugly part of Perl module authoring. Perl gives you a
standard way to run tests with Test::Harness, and basic testing primitives
with Test::More. After that you are pretty much on your own to develop a
testing framework and philosophy. Test::More encourages you to make your
own framework by subclassing Test::Builder, but that is not trivial.
(This is a build requirement for the new version of perl-YAML currently in devel CVS.)

Summary: Review Request: tetex-fonts-hebrew
Product: Fedora Extras
Version: devel
Platform: All
OS/Version: Linux
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: normal
Component: Package Review
AssignedTo: bugzilla-sink(a)leemhuis.info
ReportedBy: danken(a)cs.technion.ac.il
QAContact: fedora-package-review(a)redhat.com
Spec URL: http://ivrix.org.il/redhat/tetex-fonts-hebrew.spec
SRPM URL: http://ivrix.org.il/redhat/tetex-fonts-hebrew-0.1-1.src.rpm
Description:
Currently, the tetex package includes Hebrew support (from babel), but it is useless because no Hebrew fonts are intalled in tetex-fonts.
Since good Type 1 fonts are available in the fonts-hebrew rpm, and since it might not be sensible to burden tetex-fonts with Hebrew dependency, I suggest adding tetex-fonts-hebrew. This package installs the Culmus fonts into tetex, and makes them the default for Hebrew babel documents.
