Yes. There was some mis-understanding regarding the process. Now that has been
clarified and we are in the process of adding a newer version of the package
that is python3 compatible.

[Bug 1636169] New: Review Request:
libxmlb - Library for querying compressed XML metadata
by bugzilla@redhat.com
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1636169
Bug ID: 1636169
Summary: Review Request: libxmlb - Library for querying
compressed XML metadata
Product: Fedora
Version: rawhide
Component: Package Review
Severity: medium
Priority: medium
Assignee: nobody(a)fedoraproject.org
Reporter: rhughes(a)redhat.com
QA Contact: extras-qa(a)fedoraproject.org
CC: package-review(a)lists.fedoraproject.org
Spec URL: https://people.freedesktop.org/~hughsient/temp/libxmlb.spec
SRPM URL:
https://people.freedesktop.org/~hughsient/temp/libxmlb-0.1.0-1.fc29.src.rpm
Fedora Account System Username: rhughes
Description:
XML is slow to parse and strings inside the document cannot be memory mapped as
they do not have a trailing NUL char. The libxmlb library takes XML source, and
converts it to a structured binary representation with a deduplicated string
table -- where the strings have the NULs included.
This allows an application to mmap the binary XML file, do an XPath query and
return some strings without actually parsing the entire document. This is all
done using (almost) zero allocations and no actual copying of the binary data.
rpmlint: $ rpmlint SPECS/libxmlb.spec SRPMS/libxmlb-0.1.0-1.fc29.src.rpm

Koji scratch build:
https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=30048160 (all architectures
green)
I'm planning to use this library in fwupd and gnome-software in Fedora 30, but
it would be good to include it in Fedora 29 too for easy testing. Comments
welcome, thanks.

[Bug 1567819] New: Review Request: go-udev package
by bugzilla@redhat.com
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1567819
Bug ID: 1567819
Summary: Review Request: go-udev package
Product: Fedora
Version: rawhide
Component: Package Review
Severity: medium

Reporter: stolowski(a)gmail.com

SRPM URL:
https://copr-be.cloud.fedoraproject.org/results/pstolowski/go-udev/fedora...
Description:
Hello! I'd like to propose the inclusion of the package in subject into Fedora
Extras. go-udev is a simple implementation of udev in Golang developped from
scratch. It allows for listening to Linux-kernel Netlink messages
(NETLINK_KOBJECT_UEVENT) and enumerating existing devices.

The output of rpmlint:
$ rpmlint ./SPECS/golang-github-pilebones-go-udev.spec
./RPMS/noarch/golang-github-pilebones-go-udev-devel-0-0.1.git02dfd8e.fc27.noarch.rpm

RPMS/x86_64/golang-github-pilebones-go-udev-0-0.1.git02dfd8e.fc27.x86_64.rpm
$ golang-github-pilebones-go-udev.x86_64: E: no-binary
4 packages and 1 specfiles checked; 1 errors, 0 warnings.
I'm not sure the missing binary in golang-github-pilebones-go-udev should be
treated as an error, I based this on another go lib package with same
structure, it doesn't have any binaries either - only license/readme files.
