[Bug 1972470] New: RFP: just
by bugzilla@redhat.com
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1972470
Bug ID: 1972470
Summary: RFP: just
Product: Fedora
Version: rawhide
Status: NEW
Component: Package Review
Severity: low
Assignee: nobody(a)fedoraproject.org
Reporter: casey(a)rodarmor.com
QA Contact: extras-qa(a)fedoraproject.org
CC: package-review(a)lists.fedoraproject.org
Target Milestone: ---
Classification: Fedora
I wanted to request that a program, written in Rust, be packaged for Fedora and
included in the main package repository.
I'm sorry if this isn't the right place to make such a request. I asked on IRC,
but didn't get a response.
The program is just, a command runner:
https://github.com/casey/just
It is written in rust, and is a command runner, a bit like make minus the build
system.
I wrote and maintain just, and am eager to work with packagers to make it easy
to package.

[Bug 1978795] New: Review Request: tree-sitter - An incremental

Bug ID: 1978795
Summary: Review Request: tree-sitter - An incremental parsing
system for programming tools
Product: Fedora
Version: rawhide
Hardware: All
OS: Linux
Status: NEW
Component: Package Review
Severity: medium
Priority: medium
Assignee: nobody(a)fedoraproject.org
Reporter: asn(a)redhat.com
QA Contact: extras-qa(a)fedoraproject.org
CC: package-review(a)lists.fedoraproject.org
Target Milestone: ---
Classification: Fedora
Spec URL: https://xor.cryptomilk.org/rpm/tree-sitter/tree-sitter.spec
SRPM URL:
https://xor.cryptomilk.org/rpm/tree-sitter/tree-sitter-0.20.0-1.fc34.src.rpm
Description:
Tree-sitter is a parser generator tool and an incremental parsing
library. It can build a concrete syntax tree for a source file
and efficiently update the syntax tree as the source file is
edited. Tree-sitter aims to be:
* General enough to parse any programming language
* Fast enough to parse on every keystroke in a text editor
* Robust enough to provide useful results even in the presence
of syntax errors
* Dependency-free so that the runtime library (which is written
in pure C) can be embedded in any application

This review request is really old. Do you still intend to complete it? If so,
please indicate. If not, please close this issue and make it block
FE-DEADREVIEW, or do nothing, in which case automation will close the request
in one month.
In can review if needed, but I do not have the device this is used with.
Because of that, Nicolas would be a better candidate, if he is still interested
and has the device.

I cannot help with sponsoring, though. Somebody from the packager sponsors
group should do that.
