Bug ID: 1121146 Summary: request ganeti for epel7 Product: Fedora EPEL Version: epel7 Component: Package Review Assignee: nobody@fedoraproject.org Reporter: neal.oakey+redhatbugzilla@googlemail.com QA Contact: extras-qa@fedoraproject.org CC: package-review@lists.fedoraproject.org
Description of problem: Would it be possible to have ganeti in the epel repository?
Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): ganeti-2.11
Additional info: "Ganeti is a cluster virtual server management software tool built on top of existing virtualization technologies such as Xen or KVM and other open source software."
It is rather thought as private cloud / cluster management tool and is really simple to setup, one it is installed. With Debian you simply install the package, do a gnt-cluster init and you can already create VMs with gnt-instance add.
Currently I'm running Debian stable on my nodes because it is easier and I would like to switch to CentOS 7

--- Comment #3 from Brian Stinson bstinson@ksu.edu --- Christopher, are you interested in co-maintainership? I'm happy to leave it with you if you already have everything handled, but I'd like to get this in for el6 as well. I'll certainly help with a review when the time comes.
