Actually, I was just testing this, and it doesn't work.
You added these macros:

2*) echo $v ;; *) echo 0 ;; esac
And so whenthere is a Requires: emacs-common >= %{emacsversion} you
get an error like this:

or '/': Requires: emacs-common >= v=$(rpm -q --qf=%{VERSION} emacs) ;
