For this, try BR hicolor-icon-theme. I don't know if that will fix the
other errors though.

I suspect the icons are either not installed or installed at the wrong location. With the
warning above i guess they are installed under /usr/share/icons/hicolor *but* the hicolor
icon theme is not installed (thus, Gtk can’t use it.) Maybe try adding the
hicolor-icon-theme as a dependency?
