ReportedBy: berrange(a)redhat.com
QAContact: extras-qa(a)fedoraproject.org
CC: tcallawa(a)redhat.com, fedora-perl-devel-list(a)redhat.com
Classification: Fedora
Story Points: ---
Description of problem:
Any attempt to use perl-Devel-Cover in fully updated Fedora 15, results in a
warning printed
This version of Devel::Cover was built with Perl version 5.012003.
It is now being run with Perl version 5.012004.
Attempting to make adjustments, but you may find that some of your modules do
not have coverage data collected. You may need to alter the +-inc, +-ignore
and +-select options.
At the very least, this is obscuring real problems with doing coverage testing
of unit tests, but is also causing potentially incorrect results.
A simple rebuild of the RPM should solve it.
Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
perl-Devel-Cover-0.66-3.fc15.x86_64
perl-5.12.4-159.fc15.x86_64
How reproducible:
Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. $ perl -MDevel::Cover -e ''
2.
3.
Actual results:
This version of Devel::Cover was built with Perl version 5.012003.
It is now being run with Perl version 5.012004.
Attempting to make adjustments, but you may find that some of your modules do
not have coverage data collected. You may need to alter the +-inc, +-ignore
and +-select options.
Expected results:
No scary warning

Same as the previous F14 bug now fixed:

perl-Parse-BACKPAN-Packages should be retired in rawhide. It's been replaced
and obsoleted by perl-BackPAN-Index (bug #664204).
The only reverse dependency was perl-Git-CPAN-Patch which now requires the new
perl-BackPAN-Index instead.

Summary: perl-Pugs-Compiler-Rule

Summary: perl-Pugs-Compiler-Rule

Version: rawhide
Platform: All
OS/Version: Linux
Status: NEW
Severity: high
Priority: low
Component: perl-Pugs-Compiler-Rule
AssignedTo: steve(a)silug.org
ReportedBy: rc040203(a)freenet.de
QAContact: extras-qa(a)fedoraproject.org
CC: steve(a)silug.org, fedora-perl-devel-list(a)redhat.com
Classification: Fedora
Description of problem:
perl-Pugs-Compiler-Rule fails to build in rawhide.
Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
perl-Pugs-Compiler-Rule-0.37-5.fc14
How reproducible:
Always.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. rebuild the package
Actual results:
Fails to build.
Expected results:
Success.
Additional info:
* Apparently this package is incompatible to perl-5.12 and can't be built
against it.
* Its upstream appears dead.
This package needs to be made working or it will have to be removed from
Fedora >= 14. AFAICT, this package is not used by Fedora itself, so it's
probably safe to remove it.

Description of problem:
With the release of Moose 2.0000, upstream has merged Class::MOP into the Moose
distribution. There will be no more separate Class-MOP. Since I've just updated
our perl-Moose package to 2.0000, perl-Class-MOP should be retired and blocked
in rawhide.

Steve,
please respond to bug #611015.
perl-Pugs-Compiler-Rule fails to build under perl 5.12. It should either be
fixed
or retired. According to rel-eng, perl-sig and perl maintainer can't initiate
EOL for these packages[1].
There have also been automatic broken dependency mails for several weeks
already.
