If Digest::SHA's method is called on an unintialized object (missing
Digest::SHA->new()), the Digest::SHA crashes:
$ perl -MData::Dumper -e 'use Digest::SHA; $d=Digest::SHA->add(); print
Data::Dumper::Dumper(\$d);'
Segmentation fault
$ perl -e 'use Digest::SHA; print Digest::SHA->add(qq(a))->hexdigest'

This has been fixed in Digest-SHA-5.87. F19 and F20 are affected.

change there though, which probably makes an update unsuitable for RHEL. The
fix should easily enough be backported to 3.28 though.

How to test:
(1) Install perl-Test-Harness.
(2) Create test file `tainted.t' with tainted mode:
$ cat tainted.t
#!perl -T
print "1..0 # SKIP foo\n";
(3) Run `prove tainted.t'.
Before:
A warning about an uninitialized value is printed on standard error output:
$ prove tainted.t
Use of uninitialized value in split at

Result: NOTESTS

$ prove tainted.t

reported to upstream as <https://rt.cpan.org/Public/Bug/Display.html?id=93347>
and fixed with upstream commit:
commit fcf7d6b40daa9dcda98495434f7fca5ebcf4ba5d

Don't leave the object in a modified state after a failed truncate( to =>
'week' )
and released in 1.10 version.
Fedora 20 and 19 are affected.

It's not needed for EL-5 either actually. EL-4 needed it buts it's redundant
since rpm 4.4.

The package looks good, there are only a couple mostly cosmetic issues :
- blank line at top of spec.
- it would be clearer to not mix Requires and BuildRequires. Move the only
Requires line below the last BuildRequires line.
- the %defattr line in the %files section is not needed for anything but EL5.

perl-Test-TCP-2.02-2.fc21 can fail to build due to tests on slow machine like
this:
cannot open port: 50452 at
/builddir/build/BUILD/Test-TCP-2.02/blib/lib/Test/TCP.pm line 51.
Magic number checking on storable file failed at
/usr/lib64/perl5/vendor_perl/Storable.pm line 399, at
/usr/share/perl5/vendor_perl/Test/SharedFork/Store.pm line 51.
END failed--call queue aborted at t/12_pass_wait_port_options.t line 51.
t/12_pass_wait_port_options.t ..
Dubious, test returned 255 (wstat 65280, 0xff00)
All 24 subtests passed
This caused by various time limits in t/12_pass_wait_port_options.t. If server
process does not start listening on a TCP socket in time, the test will fail.
This can be reproduced by adding "sleep 10;" just above t::Server->new() call.

Jun 19 10:36:41 main spamd[10551]: spf: lookup failed: available_nameservers:

To fix this issue, I had to downgrade perl-Net-DNS to this version:
perl-Net-DNS-0.75-1.fc20.x86_64
This happens on two different, unrelated servers.

Assigning to Fedora Rawhide, as I now see the package is actually orphaned for
EPEL5. I'm willing to take over for EPEL5 branch and request EPEL6 and EPEL7
branches at the same time, if that's ok with you.

Summary: [PATCH] fix freetype-2.5 detection
Product: Fedora
Version: rawhide
Component: perl-Tk

Reporter: yselkowi(a)redhat.com
QA Contact: extras-qa(a)fedoraproject.org
CC: andreas.bierfert(a)lowlatency.de,
perl-devel(a)lists.fedoraproject.org
perl-Tk is failing to find the freetype headers since their rearrangement in
2.5, resulting in Xft support being dropped from the rawhide builds without
being noticed. (You can see that the libXft.so.2 dep is missing from the
latest koji builds but is listed in previous releases.) Attaching patch for
rawhide to fix.
