[Fedora-php-devel-list] PEAR is not dead !

Howdy,

PEAR 1.10.0dev2 just hit rawhide.

Some of the important changes in this release.

- Drop compatibility to PHP < 5.4

- Compatibility with PHP 7 :)

- All Fedora patches are now merged !

Especially the "relocate metadata" one We have 0 patch in rawhide \o/

- Add role="man" for man pages

- add the PEAR_manpages packages which provides the man pages for the pear/pecl command (first written for Fedora)

Definitively, PEAR is a much better tool for us, than composer. But I'm probably the only one to think this ;)
