Is anyone in the Python SIG interested in maintaining python-distutils-extra in el6? The Fedora maintainer has declined to participate in EPEL, but would welcome someone else doing so. The rawhide copy builds clean in koji against el6 right now, so it shouldn't be that hard to maintain.
This is needed by openstack-nova, which the Cloud SIG is in process of packaging for Fedora and EL6.
Thanks, Matt

Lets try that again. Thanks to fab for branching python-distutils-extra for el6!
I meant to ask for a maintainer for bpython instead...

While above I said python-distutils-extra, I really meant the package bpython. p-d-e was built by fab, and he pushed it to updates-testing for EPEL. I built bpython, and pushed it to updates-testing for EPEL.
Going forward, I would like you to maintain bpython for EPEL, just as you do for Fedora. The el6 branch now exists in the bpython git package.

(by "you", I mean a member of the python SIG who is interested in such. I recognize nomctan is not the official owner of bpython Fedora branches).
