fedora_requires_release_note granted: [Bug 156113] [PATCH] Perl is build with debugging support
by Red Hat Bugzilla
Product: Fedora
Version: rawhide
Component: perl
Stepan Kasal <skasal(a)redhat.com> has granted fedora_requires_release_note:
Bug 156113: [PATCH] Perl is build with debugging support
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=156113
------- Additional Comments from Stepan Kasal <skasal(a)redhat.com>
This bug bites again! It seems it causes bug #514942, complicating the review
bug #512726.
The patch got lost during the update to 5.10.0.
Fortunately, with 5.10.0, no patch is needed, configure option -DDEBUGGING=-g
does the trick.
I guess that the Release notes should mention that unlike in Fedora 9--11, perl
in Fedora 12 is compiled without -DDEBUGGING again.

Hm, well apparently the default ownership is not changed yet in BZ, but it
should be relnotes(a)fedoraproject.org, which brings the Docs team into the loop.

rpms/cronie/devel .cvsignore, 1.5, 1.6 cronie.spec, 1.18, 1.19 sources, 1.5, 1.6

Update of /cvs/pkgs/rpms/cronie/devel
In directory cvs1.fedora.phx.redhat.com:/tmp/cvs-serv19635
Modified Files:
.cvsignore cronie.spec sources
Log Message:
*docs*
For better cooperation between cronie and anacron, cronie now include anacron as a subpackage.
Each hour cron executes scripts from cron.hourly which contains 0anacron executable.
0anacron script checks whether the regular jobs - cron.daily, cron.weekly and cron.monthly
- were executed or not. The list of all regular jobs is in /etc/regular-jobs instead of
/etc/crontab. Manual pages mentioned options how to set up regularly-jobs to behave the
same way as in the previous versions of cron.
