For now we have two package that depend on rust-ttf-parser version 0.12 that have been stalled in development for a long time. rusttype and plotters doesn't seem ready to update there dependency sooner than later. https://github.com/38/plotters/issues/333https://gitlab.redox-os.org/redo... Sadly these two crate are very important for a lot of other crates. The best approach would be to create a compat package so others can be update. I already request a rust-owned_ttf_parser0.12 repo for rusttype. Somebody from rust-sig or the maintainer of rust-ttf-parser could request a rust-ttf-parser0.12 repo to permit the update to version 0.15 in the main repo. I can build the update for owned_ttf_parser, owned_ttf_parser0.12, ab_glyph, fontdb and fontdue once the necessary side-tag are create.
