I've been giving a few OpenSCAP/SSG workshops lately, and with the help of Brad Sollar (Red Hat colleague), published customized Ansible playbooks to provision student environments on EC2:
https://github.com/OpenSCAP/workshop-ansible-setup
The README should have everything needed to get started. Admittedly, it's likely that mostly Red Hatters may be excited about this. Wanted to get the code published though. Hope this is useful to others!

these could also be part of the RedHatGov/automated_workshops repo.

Here's the project Jamie refers to: https://github.com/RedHatGov/automated_workshops/
No objections to placing content there! Looks like the automated_workshops repo is evolving pretty fast. Once the core stabilizes (variables, domains, etc) looks like a clear integration.
