I might miss or be late for today's meeting
by Bruno Wolff III
I have a meeting at work that runs up to our scheduled start time. If
it runs over I won't be on time.
I am also not feeling well, so unless I start feeling better in the next
couple of hours, I'll probably head home right after the work meeting
and miss the Spins SIG meeting.
I had the following topics to ask about for today and will look in the
notes for answers if I don't make it:
* Category for QA Test Day Spin?
* Anyone get the contact address for the web design people for new and dropped spin notifications?
* Revisor build failures?

blobAndConquer dropped from Games Spin
by Bruno Wolff III
blobAndConquer got blocked from F12 because of an issue with nonfree
textures. As such I needed to drop it from the Games Spin as well.
I have updated the Games Spin page and the ks file in git master.

I think it mostly looks good. I think the images are easier to get at a
glance than the Wesnoth one I picked. I had been thinking I only had one
image and that it would be a lot bigger. It wouldn't be understandable
if shrunk that small.
There is some artifact in the images as they show up on that page. I am
not sure if it is something with being in the mock up or if the final
version will also have the same artifact. The upper half of each image
appears to be brighter than the lower half with a clear line separating
the two parts.
My only other concern is that you picked three 3d games. None of those
are going to work for people that have nvidia graphics cards off the
dvd. They will be usable with proprietary drivers if they actually install
Fedora and then get the needed drivers from rpmfusion. This is more of
a marketting question, so I don't think I know the right answer. But I did
want to let you know about the limitation in case that affects what you
think is best.

Any update here? Is a Haskell spin .ks ever going to be in SCM or some package?
How about subpackaging for now?

What category (if any) should the QA test day spin end up in?
by Bruno Wolff III
The QA Test Day spin is currently in the ready for SIG category. Since it
isn't really published I don't think it needs trademark approval from the
board. Should it get get moved into the accepted for F12 category?
Possibly something else?

ETA to composing F-12?
by Jeroen van Meeuwen
Dear rel-eng,
what is the date/time you were planning on composing F-12 final GA? I would
like to branch off the spin-kickstarts.git repository a week or possibly
two before then -rawhide should be pretty "stable" at that point, in order
to stabilize the repository as well and test, test, test and then test a
little more in order to reduce the chance of handing you garbage. Consider
it some kind of early branching just like we can now do for packages.
