Hi all
I was looking through the current spin releases, and I remember the security spin was available and now it is gone. I am interested in starting up the security spin. I would like to know what to do get started?
see -> https://pagure.io/security-lab

I'm sure more participation is welcome!
Great thank you.
One of your requirements for joining the security team was needing the gpg fingerprint from the security team apprenticeship page [1].
I will introduce myself. My name is Antonette, as you can see my fsa id is acaldwell. I have been working a company as a tech support for almost 1 and a half. I was introduced to Fedora back in 2014, and I've been doing (on and off) web development since 2015. I become pretty interested in the security world, and was hoping for my foot in the door into a cyber security analyst type position. I am working toward a couple of certificates, such as security plus (which I have heard is useless in some places), and the SANS certifications as well.
I wanted to contribute awhile back but I did not have the time. So I have been looking to see what I can do, and I came upon your Security team. This made me remember after seeing Security Spin was not released.

To contribute to the Fedora Security Lab only a Fedora Account is needed.

Your introduction should go to the Fedora Security Team mailing list. This is the spins list.

At the moment we are looking for regular tests of the composes [1]. Every helping hand would be appreciated.
Kind regards,
Fabian

Okay great.
I wasn't sure if there are any activity, since the security team seems inactivity via the mailing list. Are you all using any other form of communication? I understand the differences in the timezone, so I'm not too concerned about that.
Also, what are your plans, since I found that the Security Spin was taken away. Do you plan to release an updated version?

The Fedora Security Team is not responsible for the Fedora Security Lab. The Fedora Security Team has a different mission [1].

There are rawhide images available. See the link in the other response.
Kind regards,
Fabian

You mentioned that he Security Team is not responsible for the Fedora Security Lab. They are only responsible for the missions they have listed. Okay, great I understand. I will send the introduction to them.
