[PATCH] FO: Use tevent_req_defer_callback() when notifying callers
by Jakub Hrozek
Hi,
I found this potential crash when trying to find another issue in the
failover code. To reproduce, just revert the changes to
src/providers/fail_over.c and run make check, you should see either a
crash or at least an error if you use valgrind.

[PATCH] NSS: Fix memory leak netgroup
by Pavel Reichl
Hello,
attached patch proposes solution for leaking memory when non-existing netgroup is looked up.
1st patch is just for testing - just call 'pkill -SIGUSR1 sssd_nss' and talloc report will be generated in /tmp/sssd_nss_talloc_report_full.
For details about the bug please see commit message in 2nd patch.
User who reported the bug confirmed that so far it seems that memory leak has been fixed and he didn't report any side effects.
Thanks!

[PATCHES] BUILD: Speed up build of some tests
by Lukas Slebodnik
ehlo,
Attached patches reduce count of compiled ".c" files
from 935 -> 815 (almost 9%). This reduction is achieved
in deduplication of compiling "*.c" files in tests.
BTW the tests were compiled 4 times in our CI script.
* make tests
* mock build
* make distcheck
* code coverage
The result saving will not be 9% of time due to parallel build
but it still worth. (and Makefile.am is simpler)

[PATCHES] [sssd-1.11] Fixes suitable for latest release
by Lukas Slebodnik
ehlo,
We have 19 patches in 1.11 branch on top of latest release (1.11.7)
I went through bugs filed against 1.11 branch and filter
crashes and the most important bugs.
Attached are cherrry-picked patches from 1.12/master
So we can release the latest 1.11 version. It will be just a bug-fix release.
So some conservative distribution can use it or in another words.
we don't want have 1.11 branch neither in unreleased not in unclosed state :-)
BTW I test packages with LDAP KRB5 and AD test. Of course there are any
regressions because it is a bug fix only release.

[PATCH] intg: Add more LDAP tests
by Nikolai Kondrashov
Hi everyone,
Here is a patch set fixing some things in integration tests and adding more
LDAP tests:
* Adding/removing a user/group/membership with rfc2307(bis) schema.
* Filtering users/groups with rfc2307(bis) schema.
* The effect of override_homedir option.
* The effect of fallback_homedir option.
* The effect of override_shell option.
* The effect of shell_fallback option.
* The effect of default_shell option.
* The effect of vetoed_shells option.
These are pretty basic, but I think they're good for the start.
Suggestions for more tests are welcome :)
NOTE: These still break test_memory_cache.py as seen in the attached log file.
We need to figure out why and do something with it. Otherwise, the
tests work fine.

[PATCH] SDAP_ASYNC: Avoid useless debug message
by Petr Cech
Hi all,
there is patch for https://fedorahosted.org/sssd/ticket/2791 attached.
Result of patch:
The message:
Dec 14 14:16:11 vm-058-166 sssd[be[uma.dev]]: dereference processing
failed : Input/output error
is replaced by
Dec 14 15:29:26 vm-058-166 sssd[be[uma.dev]]: LDAP server claims to
support deref, but deref search failed. Disabling deref for further
requests. You can permanently disable deref by setting
ldap_deref_threshold to 0 in domain configuration.
But I am little afraid of this patch. Why? I tested this work on RHEL 6
how it is described in the ticket.
If I tried to set
ldap_deref_threshold = 0
it was still falling into bad case and printed I/O error. So, if we
considered patch is right, there is question if advice in new message is
valid for IPA 3.x.
Regards
Petr
